I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this project. The game could feature more members of the ags forums, and have more rooms. I am willing to work on it if anyone else could help me with the art or something. I already have some funny ideas the would be great in this sort of game.

Stop changing projects, what happened to the one with the green room in the crits lounge?

Chicky

I've got a great idea for the main character!

Seriously man, stick to one project.

Estaog

If you are talking about this:

I never said i was going to make a game, i said i was looking forward to making one.

Oh and do i need some sort of permission to make a sequel?

Edit: The green room was just for practice.

Tanker, I have faith that - should you put your mind to it - you could make a perfectly good game. There is no doubt about it. But it seems like every thread is about a new idea, or a different style, and if people are going to sign up to a team, they want to be confident that it won't fall apart the minute they hit a bump in the road.

Stick to a style, practice it for a bit, create characters, put them into a plot and then whack in a few puzzles. Then ask for help putting it all together.

Don't know if you realize, but a large portion of the stable ags community is involved with the ATC. At this point, I doubt any of them would be willing to commit to 2 projects at once.

But at any rate, good luck getting done what you want done.

what about the monkey island fangame? Dude, scummy made a good game about that topic because he has been on AGS a loong time, knows everyone in the game very well (through mittens and such) and knows what they are like. you could probably make a pester quest 2, but the personal knowledge wouldn't be there.
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

I was talking about this, i assumed you were trying to establish a style to use for a game.

I dont need to know them personaly to make a game including them. If i know what they look like and know how they act, i could pretty much do it. I could make the game alone scince the ATC is open, but i would need some sort of description of you guys that want to be in the game (and if possible, a picture). If you cant help me with the games art, at least help me with this.

Problem

I think some people might feel insulted if you just include them in your game and make jokes about them. Don't do this unless you know someone personally!

Oh, and is it really THAT difficult to come up with your own ideas?

Estaog

No, i just like the idea of making a game starring the people of this forum. I doesnt have to be Pester Quest, i guess i just used the name to give people an idea.

what about the monkey island fangme? you told me specifically that this projet would not be dropped for another one.

Even if you are working on two projects at once, i dobt that they would be the same quality as if you just did one game. the more stuff you have on the go, the more your work will suffer. i encourage you to make a game, but don't take on too many projects, keep it small and work really hard on the one thing.  If you do end up doing a "pester quest" type thing, feel free to include me.
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

I am not dropping the monkey island fan game, its on hold (like i said before). If you want to be in the game, could you give me a description of your personality (like how you act, if you get angry a lot ecc) and if possible a picture of yourself (give me an explenation of how you look if you dont have a picture).

Edit: A little off topic question, but how did they rip those backgrounds from "The Simpsons"? (The ones from the template ,that is).

I THINK that they drew them themselves, or ripped them fromÃ,  the Simpson's cartoon editor. Um, do you mind if I wait until I'm sure you're going to go through with this game until I hand over my personal details, I'm not worried about your integrity but I just don't want to commit myself to anything right now.
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

Ok thats reasonable. I will make it if i get enough people to be in it.

Edit: I cant believe no one is interested in this!

Because you're 14 years old? Because you haven't shown us that you're capable of producing a game of your own? Because every time you start a thread, it's about a new project you've recently begun on (while cancelling your previous), and most of the times it involves ripping backgrounds from various sources?

Just some suggestions.

Haddas

He has completed a game. I am patiently awaiting his next.

Estaog

What does it matter if im 14? And like Haddas said, i have completed a game! Has "Quest for cinema"  already been lost in oblivion?

Haddas, are you interested in giving me your details? Pm if you are.

Vel

It wouldn't matter if you didn't act you age, if not several years below it.

Andail

Ok, sorry about the game, I wasn't aware of Cinema Quest. My apologies to you, whoever else was involved in the process of said game and all those who patiently, or impatiently, await its sequel.

The age matters because this forum has an age-limit.

It doesn't matter that much, since nobody really cares about that limit, and I don't know why I do it, it's probably I who am too old anyway.

Good luck with this game project, as well as any potential simpson game to which you're already considering ripping graphics to.

Ubel

I like the idea of seeing myself in a game. But I wouldn't really leave the whole thing in your hands. No offence, but I have played Quest for Cinema and if the "Pester Quest 2" would be same quality as it I really don't want to be part of it. Sorry if I hurt your feelings or something but thats just how I feel.
Though, if there was a team of experiensed agsers doing this game (like there was for Pester Quest) then I could think about joining it.
