I'm sorry, I just find it bloody brilliant. everyone who has seen the Wall-E movie has probably heard the song that plays during the end credits. It got nomitaned for an Oscar, and they requested Peter Gabriel to performhis song on air.
However, after first agreeing, Mr. Gabriel heard that the producers would only give him 65 seconds to perform a 5+ minute song, so he declined. There's really no respect given to movie music even though it's a big part of it, most won't just realise it while watching.
Well, the Oscars are a laugh anyway. But my respect to Mr. Gabriel just got through the roof, so kudos to him for showing those idiots.

Having said that, I'm going to be watching the gala anyway probably. Depends on if my girlfriend allows it or not, as it is on at 01:00 am. Anyone watching it?
