Is anyone thinking of attending Platform 2012 (http://www.platformexpos.com/events/platform-2012/) in March?
It's in the 17th and 18th of March at the University of Hull.
There will be a number of interesting speakers, including BOTH Steve Ince and Charles Cecil.
I'm seriously considering it; Just depends on fund, studies etc, but tickets aren't too expensive and there's a further discount for booking online before the end of January. It would be cool if some other AGSers came along. :=

Sorry to bump this, but I've decided I'm almost certainly going to go. If I can find some reasonably priced accomodation... Or if Ince and Cecil are on the same day, I might just go for one day, but there's still no indication on the site as to which events are taking place on which of the days.

Well, the Expo is this weekend and I will be attending and seeing Charles Cecil and Steve Ince as well as all of the other talks going on. Is anyone here planning on attending?
I was intending to go, but it won't be happening now. I had been intending to go for one of the days, because accommodation is out of my price range. It sucks that Cecil and Ince are on seperate days - that's just silly. I would have gone for Steve Ince if I had to choose bewteen the two, but as it happens I won't be going at all now :(

Skint. But it is a gauranteed good couple of days out I'm sure, especially if there's a chance for some one on one questioning with either of them. I'd go if I could afford it, looks like there's a financial/business angle too which is cool! Have fun Stu, should be right up your street - tell us all aboot it :) And shame you can't make it now Stupot. Keep us posted on any others that you hear of!
Edit, actually no I'd never have made it either, gig on Saturday and mothers day on the Sunday! Can't expo on mothers day :P
