guys, I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!
some years ago i've recorded a part of a song from the radio... but i don't know it's title or author and i don't understand most of the lyrics.
well... i'm looking for that song since that day, cos it was a song i've heard when i've been to hungary in 1999.... my first travel! ;D
CAN YOU HELP ME?
here is a link to a short section of the sample:
http://utenti.lycos.it/fedet82/unknown.mp3
(don't directly click on it: copy and paste this url on your browser)
it's just 29 seconds... i don't want to be blamed for piracy: i can even buy that song, but i need to know it's name.
listen carefully to the words and write WHATEVER YOU UNDERSTAND here. if you know the song, tell me the title, the author and the year... and where/how i can LEGALLY buy it.
thank you in advance! ;)
bye!
When I get home I'll try it...
Let's see if I can be useful...
Is that english?
i think it is...
it seems to say something like "show me move me hear me" etc... but i cannot be sure (i am italian).
let me know what you understand... ;)
Bah! I give up... I've been trying to work it out for the last half hour and I can't get it. It sounds like a pop song with female singers. it is in english and you can get the words: "hold me" "show me" "move me" "kiss me" from it. Searching google with all that doesn't seem to help.
I think if we had the lyrics from like a verse where there is different lyrics it should be easy to find if it is a popular song.
edit: Do you have any more of the song on recording?
It's not the end of Divine's "Lately" is it?
Argh! That's so incredibly familiar!
However, I can't place it. If you could post a section of verse, I might be able to, but that bridgey bit has too many different voices to pick anything out.
I cannot download it...
It seems to be broken...
I've listened it and it doesn't sound english to me either ^^
I don't know what song is, sorry.
That does sound familiar, and it's killing me because I can't find who they are. >:(
The song sounds like it came from the group, All Saints, but I checked all of their lyrics and nothing matches the ones sung in this song.
So, I give up. -_- But, here are some lyrics I managed to dig out:
"something lasts forever
Move me up
Show me (show me love)
Forever (into my soul)
(some lyric that contains the word 'love')
Hold me
Show me
Move me
Hear me
something in my soul"
Of course that sounds familiar to you... because there are a million of songs like that! ^_^ Just dowload something yelled by three beatifull black girls and you'll have it.
He... seriously... I can't help... But I am curious... Why it is so important to you Federikazzo? Has it an interesting story of love and passions behind? We want to know! :D
;D
it just reminds me of when i went to hungary in 1999. it was my first travel... no love story, sorry... but just some memories! that's why it's "important" to me!
:)
it's nice when you hear a song and, while listening to it, your memory goes back to those days.......
i had a lot of fun! ;D
Sounds like it's something played backwards. ;)
Were you thinking of "Pure Shores", Dart? The one form the Beach movie. That has the right time frame.
It also sound like Janet Jackson to me and her song "Would you mind" has kind of similar lyrics... but that was 2001...
Only thing I can say: it's surely in English - there's "show me" all the time in the lyrics. Other than that I know nothing ???
I gave it a whirl and listened to it, but i'm sorry i can't help. I've never heard that song before. But i admit, it sounded good.
Please, please, please post another section of this song. I feel sure I could get it with hearing some other part ^_^
I can hear "Move me", "Hear me" "Show me" "Move me up" "Hold me" "In my soul" "... love is like a..."

Question is still there :)
To me it sounds an awful lot like "Show me Love" by Robyn. At least the background music.
http://www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/Robyn/Show-Me-Love.html
maybe its the same band?
I actually checked that, Scummbuddy. She only seems to have released one album, though, and none of the songs have lyrics that seem to fit. Though I admit it's hard to tell from that sample.
This is turning into quite the mystery!
That does not sound like Robyn imo.. but i DO think i've heard it before.
i've checked: it's not robyn's "show me love"... :-\
someone said it could be "anything" by janet jackson, but i cannot be sure... what do you think? ???
