Captain Muchly's letter was about the wonders of drinking bleach, and caused a stir of controversy.
SHAWNO NEWS FLASH: Rodekill.com, not updated because I suck at animation. Long story.

£10!?!?!? That wouldn't even cover my travel expences to get HALF WAY to London (I'm in the lovely Derby right now you see)

Either you crank up the moolah, or I could just tell you how to find the news agents...

Adamski

* Dark Stalkey keeps a look out for a pirate drawn in bright crayon next time he's in the city centre.

Awesome chrille. I've noticed that the british version of PC Magazine still values adventure games and the underground/amateur game movements like us. they even had that big article over LEC sueing people for making fan games. They rarely (if ever) do that in the american counterpart, and I was suscribed to it a couple of years ago.

Chrille is my hero. I will now go back to my game and make the interface lime green! :P

You should get a better scan of the magazine article, tho.

Ben

Yep. I almost went blind reading that blurry print.  :P

That's quite cool, though. What was the rest of the article about?

PeaceMan

It was an article about shareware games.

AGA

There was an article in PC Zone not long ago about the resurgence in adventures games' popularity. I'll try to do a scan of it sometime...

I also had a letter published, about a year ago, on the subject of amateur games :- http://www.agagames.com/pics/art.gif

I'm actually NOT a real pirate Dark Stalky. Sorry. ALTHOUGH I've got a t-shirt with my pirate face drawn on the back, and "CAPTAIN MOSTLY" written on the front which I sometimes wear... I made it for a Melt Banana conert in Nottingham.

Mind you, I won't be in Derby much longer (indeed, I leave on Friday) because it's summer and I'm a student ha ha ha.
