Crayons ^-^

So I bought some crayons on a whim the other day for the first time in forever. I forgot how cool they are after all these years, they are so fun and bright and inexpensive ^_^ I got some 4x6 index cards too and look what I drew already





Also when I was crayon shopping, I picked up a bottle of champagne and a hash brown. They are so good.

however ... Hashbrowns and champagne go together just like water and oil!!

Crayons are fun but I hate the nature of wax!    You'll try to saturate a spot with color but you'll just end up clearing off the wax that was already there!



Gimme colored pencils any day!

Yeah that is a little gnarly, I tried to put black and brown over places and it would just not go, should plan ahead more  I hear watercolour crayons work a bit better but they are something like $13 for a pack of 8 at Michael's, where I got this box of 64 crayons for under $3 with a coupon

last time a used crayons was only like 3 years ago, of course im only in 9th grade. i might start drawing with crayons for the fun of it!

I... hate... crayons! o_o Always have... They're the most annoying artists' tools ever, for all the reasons already mentioned!

yea for real. every one post the best crayon drawing you can pull off (no colored pencils or markers just crayons).i cant post mine at the moment because its storming and imageshack isnt working for me due to my slow connection because of the storm.

Ahh, the memories. Although I don't remember ever using a crayon to draw with...
My experiences are more of the "Jews versus Nazis Crayon War Classroom Extravaganza" variety.
