Title: Quakenet Banning ISPs?
Post by: LGM on Tue 21/12/2004 00:57:22
I haven't been on Quakenet in a coons age, but now that I want to come back into #ags for some nice wholesome chit-chat.. I CAN'T!

Every time I try to log in, I get G-Lined and told that my ISP has been currently banned.

Have they been banning people lately? Or is this happening to other people?

I can't seem to contact anyone on their site, and their forums lead me to a Forbidden page.

ARGH!

That's what you get for all that software piracy you've been doing.

And for using racial slurs!

Though, I've been informed that the expression isn't really a racial slur, so I'll agree with Pesty on the pirate thing.

Occassionally, I've had my ISP banned, usually the ban only lasts a week or two. If it doesn't stop in a couple of weeks, then I guess you're screwed.

I had a ban two weeks ago, and the next day I was able to get on. And before that, I hadn't tried to go on #ags for a month maybe.
