What's the deal, are the originals (not the VGA remakes) available for download anywhere? Or is Sierra still being a bitch about that sort of thing? Because I wanna make my friend play the original and yet it's proving mighty difficult to find it on the net.
wihtout knowing for sure my answer is:
Still a bitch (Sierra, or Vivendi though?)
Unfortunately, a site called The Abandoned Games Room which was dedicated to Sierra and LucasArts games, and had QFG 1 available for download, has been closed down by enemy agents :(
The entire collection is on ebay for 6 dollars. In the box with manual.
I doubt you'll find Quest for Glory 1 CGA as most people like to keep the version with the best graphics for download.
Actually, I did find them ^_^ Hooray!
Bloody Vivendi.
I still don't understand why Sierra didn't release a new QFG collection like they did for SQ, KQ, PQ, and LSL. Goddammit. :(

I bought a Quest For Glory anthology (1-4) from my local laundrette. If you're looking for something like that, check YOUR local laundrette.
Your local laundrette?
Finding old games there would make doing washing more fun, but no, my local one doesn't have any games :(
Yeah, the only thing you can get in my local laundry place is soap......

Yes, I thought it was a bit strange at first. I can think of two laundrettes that sometimes have sun-bleached old books and tapes for sale in the window.
