Title: Read it and weep Guitar Hero!
Post by: R4L on Mon 13/11/2006 02:04:46
Anyone played Frets on Fire? Its basically Guitar Hero for your PC, but the best part is that it has its own song importer, so you can totally make your own songs! Plus, theres an active community where you can download tons of songs and mods. So anyone heard or tried it yet?

LGM used to do it. Personally, I think Guitar Hero is silly. I can shread most of the songs on Guitar Hero on the guitar, but I can't play with those stupid five button guitars. It makes me so mad.

I was so excited about the new Guitar Hero game, even though I haven't owned a console since the NES, because I was told by someone that they were going to work a Frank Zappa song into the game, which got my rocks off enough to go to the department store to try it out.  Imagine my suprise when I found that all of the songs, save for Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight, were utter crap.

They had one song in particular that was great, Trogdor!!!!!!!!!! And Killing In The Name Of, but most of the songs have some horrible covers.

Ha i remember watching that on homestarrunner.com. Personally I can't really play guitar, and GH has an awkward guitar controller that I hate (cramps my arm when trying to shift between buttons)

I think that's just how playing guitar is. It takes a while to get used to bending your arm around a guitar neck, but after a bit of practice it becomes like a second nature. ;)

I remember seeing that at Assembly.
