well.. not quite, i saw this photo from the celebrations in portsmouth and it instantly reminded me of monkey island..

that DOES resemble it quite a bit. The masts fit in quite well.

Is it the reddish background that makes you connect the two images?
Otherwise I just see a quite ordinary sailing ship...the sails aren't even similar....

Andail is kinda right. I hardly see any major resemblance between the two.

Oh, and I saw someone who looked just like gov Elaine the other day:

bleh, least mine has the right colour background and similar looking ship!

and had fighting on it! FIGHTING!

and the fight was about a fight 200 years ago, therefore, undead fighters therefore lechuck!

Where is the fighting? The first pic has fireworks in the background, and the mi-ship isn't doing anything in particular.

The photo comes from a re-enactment of a battle, firework kinda bangs instead of cannons etc, then it was followed by a fireworks display which was meant to be the storm that originally followed the battle.

The photo was another boat 'subsituting' for the original which is in a dry dock at Portsmouth ¬¬
