Ray Charles
Albany 1930- Beverly Hills 2004

The piano was in tune, of course... Go to heaven shaking your tail feather!

I'm off of work tomorrow because Oklahoma (US) Governer Brad Henry ordered all state and county offices closed in memory of former President Reagan.

A deputy in the Emergency Management office made an official request to also be closed the following Monday in memory of Ray Charles.Ã,  :)

You just need a few more dead celebrities and you've got a 7-day weekend. ;)

RIP Ray.

QuoteAnd I bet he never saw it coming.

Ha...ha...ha...

It's sad that he is no longer with us. I liked that guy. He wore such cool shades. And he was a good player. :'(

Sad indeed...  :'(
I regret never seeing him play live, even though I had the chance... RIP, Ray.

Aye, I heard that on the news yesterday... Too bad, too sad. He was a great musician.
And not to be sacriligious here or something, but I actually mourn the loss of Ray Charles more than "Ray-Gun"...
Ah well... R.I.P to both of 'em anyway...

"...We shall all meet, by and by..."

It's normal to feel more sad about a musician, specially a blind and funny one, than about a 93 years old politician, I think, so, don't feel weird.

RIP for them both, anyway...

Yeah sad story.
Another one of those big people is gone. Well we can only hope for at least ten to fill his place.
