Hi! I'm new to the forums and to AGS somewhat. I've played around with the program a little and am getting comfortable with it. Comfortable enough that I'm starting to plan out my new (and first) game. I practically grew up on Sierra's classic adventure games, specifically the Quest for Glory and Leisure Suit Larry series. I also enjoyed some of Lucasarts' games like Monkey Island.

The purpose of this post is to inquire as to good places to find resources. I'm not a good artist at all, though I consider myself a very good writer and someone who can incorporate good jokes and such into the game, and I'm good enough at programming and scripting that I feel I can get the hang of the scripting engine. All I'm curious about is finding a supply of publicly available character graphics and, more importantly, rooms! I'm currently stuck re-using views from QFG and Larry 3. If anyone's willing to help me, that's great, but just remember that I'm not officially announcing a game as of yet, so any work you do might not show up...still, if you enjoy the work itself, feel free to let me know!

Off to working.

Thanks for all the input! It gives me plenty of material! I should have a sample game ready in a week or so...
