Does anyone out there know how to Uninstall The Orical?  I can't find it in Ad/Remove (under Control Pannel) and can't find it in Start/All Programs.
Please help.  Thanks

I have no folder that I can find

Spike4072

if you are playing it from a short cut on your desktop then right click the shortcut and click properties. From the window that pops up click find target. That will take you to the folder.

This thread should not be here...

Three golden rules:
1. Is your post interesting, helpful or funny? If not, don't post it.
2. Post in a mature manner. Remember, the minimum age here is 16 - if you're unable to act that age, don't post.
3. If you're not a moderator, don't pretend to be one. If a thread needs to be moved or locked, the moderators will deal with it.

Man, I really thought somebody had created a game by the name of "Uninstall The Orical".
The name rhymes, looks good and promises at least 15 minutes of excessive nerd adventure game trash.

What a shame.
I, object.

Since I didn't find it in the AGS games database, I googled for "the orical" and ended up at the fable 2 forums where some guy posted a short story called "the orical". Some other guy then pointed out that the correct spelling is "oracle". Haha.
Looking back at the games database, there actually IS a game called "the oracle". So yeah. Delete the folder.

Exactly! Somebody make that game. It could be an entry for the MAGS.  :=

What's wrong with just mentioning a thread is in the wrong forum? He was just observing that it was in the wrong place, not trying to berate/scold the poster or anything? He didn't break that rule. Where are these rules posted anyway?

Also, you're kinda playing at being a moderator yourself, with your quoting and/or writing of these rules which makes it seem like you're reprimanding the poster.

Actually, ProgZmax is a moderator, just technically not of this particular board. But seeing as GenGen has been without an official mod since 2005, it's usually modded by whoever happens to be around at the time. :)

The rules appear when you click on "Reply", just above the box you type your message into.

As to the original poster's problem, The Oracle comes in a zip archive file, which you must first extract before you play the game. The game's folder is probably located in the same place you chose to extract the file to.

Failing that, run a Windows search for "The Oracle.exe" and that should point you to wherever the folder may be hiding. Once you've found the folder, delete it. :)

EDIT: The extracted game folder is called "TheOracle11", so you could also search for that.

That could be the subtitle of the game! As in,
