ScummVM (http://scummvm.org) is a virtual machine that can play lots of old games on a variety of modern machines. It started out as a method to play all the LucasArts classics, hence the name (SCript Utility for Maniac Mansion).

The topic to port AGS to ScummVM has come up in the past; now that the engine code is open maybe someone will get around to it.
There's no way you can port your game to ScummVM though.

In theory it's possible to create a scumm game (like Maniac Mansion or Monkey Island) that would run on ScummVM. It's a lot harder than creating an AGS game though.

I brought this up on the ScummVm website a while back, and it was discussed a fair amount. There were some potential problems that arose, but I think one of the main problems is that no one is really interested in porting it because it's still under active development. Maybe this could be a help.

Yeah, I'm at the point where i'm just going to tell that guy i'm not going to port to scumm. after all, my game has more class than scum. (GET IT??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  ;D) anyways, thanks. I'll just work on more advanced programming with AGS before i go anywhere. all my games are really basic...
