Title: Sierra Art Cells
Post by: DCillusion on Wed 09/03/2005 16:15:43
Does anyone know where I could get some Sierra Online art cells.  They don't have to be original, but I'd really like to see them, or have copies.

If you're referring to walkcycles, sprites, furniture and stuff like that, SCI Studio is probably a good bet.

I think DC is asking about the actual paintings done by Sierra artists for their VGA games, which were then scanned into the computer to appear in the actual game. If that's what you mean, I don't know where on earth you'd be able to find one... Ebay maybe?

There was a QFG4 original watercolor on Ebay recently.  It sold for upwards of $1,000 US Dollars.

We were actually talking about that painting over in the Critic's Lounge (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=19614.0"). Beautiful work. The seller had absolutely NO idea what he/she had.

DragonRose is right.

What I was looking for was the original painting prescanned, like the one from the Critics Lounge topic.  It would just be interesting to see some of them.
