Forum message count

Hi there!

There's a minor thing wrong with the forum message count... according to the screen header I have two messages. However, in actuality there are three. This happened when I got CJ's global message about changing forum rules - it didn't increment my msg count, but deleting it did decrement my msg count. FYI.

I didn't get a new message notification about CJ's message, and my message count is still what it was before recieving that one...

I'd say "PM count" instead of "message count"

And I think this oughta be in the AGS Chit Chat or something... but anyway...

Yeah, this isn't an AGS Technical question so it doesn't belong here.

Anyway, it sounds like some sort of issue with the forum software, not a lot I can do about it.

Well it didnt show for me that I had another message the other day, but looking at it now, it now shows the right amount, so I guess it just fixed itself.

My count has reset itself as well. I now have 0 messages. Sigh.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread at all, but I just noticed my PM count went up by 1, and I haven't received any lately. This must have happened in the last few hours because it was normal this afternoon.

Strange, that forum rules message didn't change the PM counters. I didn't even know it was there until it was mentioned here. Its the right number now though. Strange.

same to me, when i got CJ message about changes in Terms and Conditions, i didn't get, 1 new, the pm messages got up by one, but not, You have 1 new

The problem seems to be fixed now, as my PM count seems to be right aswell now.

And, completely offtopic, but GoÃ©l, I find your avatar a bit too frantic... It makes me feel a bit not-so-well after a longer while... You mind doing something about it? No offence.
