You may remember in the not so long awaited film production thread a little movie we shot randomy in a day, Skanked Up with Don McClane;

Well, currently in production is the  sequel, Village of Rage - there's also a prequel coming too... None the less, I thought you might like to see the first 1 scenes!

Please note these feature strong language, and an insanely strange scary girl :P See what you think, see if it entertains you... I'll share more soon, this production is one big learning curve for me!

Squinky

Wow, that girl was just mean....

I didn't really get what was going on, but it looked cool and you guys did a good job. The title sounds far out too, heh.

AS I said before the first one gradually got better. The filming really picks up at the house chase. However McClean would randomly lose his jacket sometimes.

Episode III was much improved. The filming was good quality. However the lens flares from the gun are cheesey. Durring the second shot, I would add a grazing sound because the camera is right in the line of fire. Other then some lighting issues, the chatting scene was well done. I especially liked his line after he gets out of the car as well as the angry girl.

Bring on more m0dsie. They're slowly getting better then you blowing yourself up. :)

Thanks, Evil! Sadly it will require seeing all 3 movies to understand any one of them, so scenes will be rough & un-interpretable at the moment! Basically, at the end of the 2nd movie, just after Weir is stabbed, McClane is chased off by a guy in a suit, he grabs his jacket & casually walks off, and SU3-VOR starts...

What is a grazing sound? I'm waiting for a copy of After Effects to try some realistic muzzle flashes, lens flaers!1 currently my only option in premiere. I'm not sure if I can actually *make* a muzzle flash in AE or whether I will have to draw one in photoshop first.

Squinky, thanks! VOR is of course a homage title to Streets :)

Evil

A grazing sound is the sound you would hear in movies when a bullet narrowly misses the character. Basicly, it's the sound of the bullet flying by.  I tried to find something, even a wizzing sound, but no luck. :/

m0ds

Ahhh, gotcha. That wont be hard, thanks!

LGM

What a shit movie...

No really, the first scene went from crap cinemtography to "What?! Steven Speilberg? How'd m0ds get him!?"
