Oh ... OH OH The album! Yeah. (I'm so slow) Oh well, did anyone really expect something more than tired old men playing rock? I didn't, frankly.
GnR were terrible at Donnington last year, in all honesty who gives a shit about the album? I couldn't have seen it being any good without the ex members.
They arent even GnR anymore. The should be called "Old Man Axl and his band of Loosers!"
Not that hes that old, but he seems worse off than Jagger or Richards :O
To tell you the truth, the band members are actually ok. Its just Axl who needs to go.
I've lost any respect for GnRs... They'll never be as they were. They were meant to play here last month but canceled with short notice because the guitarist sprained his finger or something. (I don't see why they couldn't get a session guitarist?).
I'll probably give the album a listen if I get time, but I won't go out of my way to get it.
I never liked them to begin with. Axels voice always annoyed the hell out of me, thank god you hardly ever hear about them (or even hear them) anymore.
Same here. I never thought Axl was a very good singer to begin with.
It's such a pity what has happened to that band, they had some really classic songs. Althougt I still get to hear those songs on classic rock radio all the time.
Now the band is nothing but a joke with an indefinitely delayed punchline.

Yeah, no crap. I mean how many guitarists have they been through already?... 8, as I count (including Slash, Izzy, and Buckethead).
