Intriguing.

I started the adventure of a lifetime almost three years ago, let's see what I remember.

*Traveled to many places, taken 15 flights in just under two years
*Went to three AGS meets, scared a few attendees
*Twice donated a pint of blood in a campaign to save a canceled television show
*Saw Macy Gray live three times!! (?)
*Met and hung out with the Cardigans for a few hours after the show
*Unknowingly urinated in front of the Finnish Embassy in London after a night out with spleen
*Started collecting comic books, have 200+ after one year :O
*Became vegetarian again, after failing in my teen years. Been meat free 2 years now.
*Started learning Chinese
*Tuna beard
*Voice acted for a game in a popular AGS series
*Was badly ripped off for a theatre ticket
*Seriously, I was REALLY, REALLY ripped off with that ticket....big time. I'm talking like $100 worth
*Found out Steven Seagal has his own signature energy drink, and have since averaged 1 1/2 cans per day
*Was rescued by the Spanish Red Cross
*Retained my precious purity, but have added what must be millions of square miles of coverage to my Self Gratification Belt
*Lost 2% body fat after 16 weeks of kick boxing training
*Drank grog
*Was coerced into kissing a male AGSer publicly at one of the meetups
*Joined my college's dodgeball team, but never went to any games
*Paid a Rocky Horror stage actor $1 to make out with my sister after the show
*Developed an unhealthy obsession with the music of Fiona Apple
*Had my first article published, an adventure game review
*Was recently laid off

*A couple of weeks ago, at a dance, something within me snapped. I don't know what...but I finally felt like it was time to move on. I've since met a girl that I like a lot. And she seems to like me...somewhat...
*I moved out of my parents house...for three months. I lived with a family from my church, but they have 12 kids (11 of them adopted), so at that point they couldn't support me financially. I had no car, no job, no money, and no way to get any of the above.
*I learned how to write Wiki articles.
*I graduated high school.
*I got my driver's license.
*I learned how to deal with life...hehehe...it's hard to move back in with your parents when you walked out after a fight with your step-dad...moving into the room that had since been turned into a storage room.
*I cleaned my room. There's still loads of storage there, but I can deal with it now.
*I voted in my first Amerikan Elektion.
*I met an amazing group of people online who really seem to stick together. I'd like to imagine that I've become one of them...but I've never been to any of the official meetings, so I guess I don't count. But one day...I'd like to.

Replace knowledgeable with comfortable and that's what happened to me

I was with a girlfriend walking along the beach at night a long time ago, and this dude was smoking with his friends farther out and walked up to us to I guess, try to pick us up. He was all 'heeeeeey...' and then I turned and faced him and then he was 'oh, um.'


'do you have a light?' with a lit cigarette in his hand.

That was the last time someone mistook me for a girl as far as I know.

Nice thread! So far I have achieved the following:

1. Discovered AURA, one of the best albums ever
2. Started to listen to ASIA (see 1)
3. Seen a MAGNIFICENT Jethro Tull concert in Belgrade (now I can die peacefully)
4. Witnessed the break-up (or, as some people call it, RE-UNION) of ASIA and the formation of a great new band with crappy name - GPS.
5. Got extremely interested in making serious money on the Net, which resulted in many, many wasted hours and $0.28 in cash.
6. Saw a terrible movie called SILENT HILL.
7. Got a GIRLFRIEND ( :o)
8. Went to church (a few days ago)
9. Got a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science
10. Became a GREAT, GREAT, GREAT fan of CAMEL. I like them as much as Pink Floyd.
11. Got a JOB 
12. Talked to THE BUTCHER about the great Eastern Orthodox custom of "hitting eggs" once on IRC.
13. Bought a bass guitar. Currently learning to play it.
14. Saw PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK, one of the greatest movies ever.
15. Became a rabid fan of PETER WEIR (see 14)
16. Became a fan of VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR (the band, not the machine)
etc.
