Happy birthday egghead!
Happy birthday, Eggie :)
Scissors are good for stabing people, in the eyes, Eggie ;)
Happy 16th, Eggeh. :D
Just remember: NEVER run with scissors. Ever. I had a mate who did that in Gr. 7, and let me tell you, it wasn't a pretty sight when he tripped.
Needless to say, his mom wasn't happy to see him with a huge gash in his hands.
Happy Brithday. I think 16 isn't enough to have scissors all by yourself :P
Happy birthday, Mr. Cheesy Bird.
May your vampires be as real as yesteryear's.
Happy teh birthday!
Umphy Berfday!
Bappy Hirthday Eggie!!!!

Ummm, I mean, Happy Birthday Eggie!
Woo and yay! And congratulations!
(Feel free to make up another scissor-related joke and pretend I wrote it here, if you like.)
:) if you'd live in the right country, you could drink and smoke and everything by now...
well, who says you can't have fun with scissors...?
Happy bday Eggie ;D
Having scissors would mean saving a lot of money on those hair cut bills
Happy birthday!

congratz Eggie. Here, have a hug!
Happy Birthday!
(without any scissor jokes)
Happy birthday mr. Eggheadcheesybird.
Hooray. My un-unbirthday begun as 'The top 100 greatest cartoons' ended on Channel 4. Could this be a sign?
I gots me a Digital video camera, The Keane album, A can of coke and much munneh.
Yes.
Drive a ice cream truck to Etiopia in your underwear!
woohoooo!
Happy birthday. Think, only two more years to go and then you can go buy beer from the store (I mean legally;)). Atleast that's the way this thing works in Europe.
Ehm... No, here in Germany alcohol and cigarettes are 16+!
Sorry to be a smartass, but... Man, I love it!
Here in America driving is 16+ and it only costs about $30 and an hour of your time to take a test. If you're 14+ you can drive a motorcycle, but not autos. This differs by state because in Arkansas 14 year old kids can drive cars. Eat that Germany.
Unfortunately, I cannot rent a hotel room until I have reached the wise age of 21, however I have several friends over that age willing to help me out with the alcohol and hotel rooms. Unfortunately
What I meant to add was that this means that while interstate travel is perfectly legal from the age of 16 and up, it is impossible to sleep anywhere but a car or someone else's home, which means that it's practically illegal to travel in my own country until I'm 21 unless I know someone who can board me (except in certain states where you only have to be 18).

Man, I can't believe that Pokemon came higher than Thundercats. Some serious justice needs to be dealt out.
Well, you see... the brilliance of Pòkémôn is that it invented the whole concept of merchandising through the cartoon itself. In order to watch the series you also had to read the comic book (which was just frames of the tv show with speech bubbles), play the nintendo game, buy the little Pîkãçhü balls, buy the card game, and so on. They promised that you would get what was going on in the program(me) if you kept on buying junk, but you never did, so you just kept on buying hoping that you'll get the show someday. Then came digimon... and you had to buy junk for that too!
People just watched Thundercats just for the coolness of it. What kind of show is that?! Boooring... I mean, I can't even trade cards with the cartoon! sheesh.
Happy Birthday, Eggie! I thought you were older, but I guess you're getting there! :=

Ah but Family Guy came 5th, so all is good.
QuoteAh but Family Guy came 5th, so all is good.
True, t'was a good position for a relatively unknown show -- especially as Futurama only came twenty-something.
Also, is it just me or was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actually called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles when it was on TV? Or am I just hallucinating again?
If anyone didn't see it the results are here:
http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/G/greatest/cartoons/results.html
I'm also mad that Finding Nemo came higher than Danger Mouse. Where's the cool factor in a soppy sentimental flick like Nemo?
QuoteThey were known as Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles in the USA, but in the UK they were the Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles
According to a google search
also was saddened by the Dangermouse position, especially when 'custard' comes from DM
I'm suprised pokemon made the list at all. I didn't know commercials could be nominated.
And where's Earthworm Jim and Sam & Max??? Ã, >:(
And where were Bananaman, Stop the Pigeon and Thomas the Tank Engine?
I think we've been conned.
Damn, I've forgotten all about "Stop that Pigeon"! I used to watch that all the time when I was a kid! I think I know some family members that have it on tape...
What about Count Duckula? Made by the Dangermouse lot...
OOoooooiiillll get it duckyboos!
Not to mention Fonz and the Happy days gang :=
I'm sad about Futurama being at the position it is, since it's one of my, if not my alltime favourite ever. And it's all because of the characters and their voices.
I was actually pretty pleasantly surprised by some of the results. Especially with The Iron Giant, I'm one of the few people who managed to see that movie in the cinema. Despite Warners Brothers valiant attempts to stop me.
And although Futuramas place was pretty low compared to The Simpsons and Family Guy (neither of which I'm fantastically immensly crazy about at the monent). The cooments by the seemingly random celebrities were very complimentory. And they got Billy West. Hooray for Billy West!
Hey! I like Wacky Races!
Since when has Monty Python been a cartoon? Or is it referring to the cartoon portions of the show?
Happy Birthday Eggie!!!
Happy Birthday Eggie!
One year more a man! remember to enjoy every last moment of it :)

Well, Thomas the Tank Engine wasn't really a cartoon, now, was it? It wasn't even stop action.
Man, that show ROCKED!
Happy Birthday, Eggie. You're now the legal marriage age in the UK (And have been for 2 years, with parental consent in the US). So... Go buy some scissors and find yourself a bride, good man!
And regarding the Ninja Turtles... I wonder why they decided they didn't want them to be ninja in the UK? I mean, They're not even remotely ninja-like in the cartoon, so the name almost fits better, but still...
And Alvin and the Chipmunks wasn't anywhere on that list. Maybe it's only me, but I think that they at least belong in the top 100. And the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon came in at #29... Above Transformers and He-Man? Blasphemy. I liked the D&D cartoon, but still...
My elephant namesake came 81st position. Unless there actually IS another cartoon called "Barbar" and they didn't misspell it. And where is dexter???
Happy (belated?) birthday eggie. Keep watching the cartoons! Do not give in to the dark side! Where else can you get creative ideas for scissors than Tom and Jerry?
*EDIT* There IS a cartoon called Barbar! and Babar is not on the list! EVIL!
Happy B'day Eggie, I can't believe you're only 16
Have a great one
~Tim
Happy birfday!,
by the by, who remembers Sharkey and George, the crimebusters of the sea? (p.s. if twas already mentioned, go easy on me, I'm pushed for time and couldn't read the whole thread)
;D
One-hundred of these days, PEggie.
Sorry, I meant "one-hundred of these years!
