"Final Fantasy VII" made us all cry, but yet we wonder what happened to Red XIII!?! What happened to Cloud & his gang!?!

"Torin's Passage" brought a nice end...OR...was it?! Torin saving his family & finding out that he is the next King of his homeland! But, what became of Torin after all that?! Did he claim the throne?! Did King Rupert ever get some from his wife or was it from all his slave women!?! Did Mrs. Bitternut bust a move?! Was little Jiohnny Bitternut the only child in the Bitternut family?!

Many questions have been left without answers...

I got confused when I saw the commercial for Final Fantasy 10...2.  How can there be two number tens?  Are they remakes or add-ons or something.  Actually, I don't care.  Seeing as how I've been told that Final Fantasy has no real ongoing plotline, it's not worth trying to figure it all out now.

I guess there's some kind of movie being made about Final Fantasy 7.  I saw it on X-Play on TechTV.  It's called, "Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children".  It's all computer animated like "FF:The Spirits Within".  Only difference is, TSW sucked and Advent looks freakin awesome (not to mention, from what I saw, it's all in Japanese at this time).  All I saw in it was Cloud and Sephiroth, but who knows... maybe it'll answer some of the your questions regarding FF7.

Even though, yes, the title "Final Fantasy" is an oxy-moron in it's own right (how can there be 10+ sequels for a game called FINAL Fantasy?), the Final Fantasy series, in my opinion, is really quite brilliant, as far as story lines and other little tidbits go (even though there were a few stinkers in there, like FF8).  But would you really want to play 10+ games all about one person?   ...Or would you rather play 10+ games with separate, original stories, characters, locations, etc?  Each game is a guaraunteed new story.

...Oh yeah, just for the sake of being my smartass self, I have to come up with a question...

Backtracking a bit, about Torin's Passage:

My friend and I wrote a story for a sequel called "Torin's Dictatorship" in which Torin finds out his parents were actually tyranical rulers, so he sets out on a quest to take over all the worlds.  We tied up a bunch of loose ends and offered several explanations, like "why can't Torin get in Crystal City?" and "why didn't Leena look like anyone else on Escarpa?"

Sadly, all the other AGS projects took over, but maybe someday I'll make it.  We even sent the idea to Al Lowe, and he liked it.

Holy crap, I've been asking myself that for awhile now, and I though I was the only one who found this weird. "Maybe it's X-2, and not Ten-2." Nope, the announcer said "ten-two".

And what in the name of bad taste is that horrible Japanese pop? It's like Britney Spears on ecstasy and uppers, it's so happy and perky sounding. Blech!

Well, I'm sure the reason for the "2" is because the Final Fantasy series is stereotypically not building upon a single plot from one game to the next.. they use the same personality for the main character, and the end result is saving the world (hence final fantasy) but each story is dramatically different. You think of Final fantasy 1-10 as 10 totally different stories. So if they made an 11 and it was based on 10, then it would seem all weird and stuff. People would bitch, traditions would be confused.

I think a better idea would be to say Final Fantasy 10: {distincting title here}

Oh, and "Lily" (if that is your real name) why didn't you complain about someone saying 8 was total crap? You didn't let me off the hook that easy.
