Every year I try to give a crap about people's lists of presents that they got, and every year I fail. Maybe it's just me.

Yeah, I always try to read what people got, and like CJ, I'm never amused. But I still feel the need to write out what I got.

And, today I bought myself a new guitar amp.

My friends and family tend to respect my views on the Christmas thing, so I did not receive any gifts other than a large chunk of uninterrupted time in which to work on my game.  Couldn't have chosen a better gift if I'd bought it myself...

And who are these people who give out bottles of Jack Daniels? I must get to know them. (Who cares about consumerism and corporate crap when people are handing out bottles of Jack!?)

It's funny. This year I didn't buy my own presents (usually I get money to buy my own presents with) but I got exactly what I wanted, and I didn't even know it yet.
I got a bow an arrows and this cool-looking thing that you wear to pull the bow back. I got a camouflage shirt and a pink and camouflage scarf, and an iPod.

Actually, I also got some money from my aunt. That was cool and in time of need. And I bought some simple presents to my family. I actually remembered this year.
