Go to run and type telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
Amazing, the entire movie, all ascii.
Wait, what? Go to run? Is that a website?
...wow! That was actually the coolest thing I've seen in quite a long time. O_O
Gonna watch it all later! :D
Oh. Oh. Holy crap, this is awesome.
How long am i supposed to wait for this? :-\
bluke, windows key+R brings up the run box then enter telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
Yes... I figured that out... this is great.
I cant get it to work... It just says "Connecting to towel.blinkenlights.nl"
Man, this is so old! I remember seeing this a few years ago.
Simply type in your web browser, unlike those barbaric people who still use run... :P:
telnet://towel.blinkenlights.nl/
Bluke, make sure that you unblock windows firewall for telnet. It should pop up and ask anyway...
Still awesome!
Now, who says we need graphics. Cmon that puts new meaning to text adventure! ;)
I saw a matrix one awhile ago and well it was more detialed!
The matrix one was done using a program that converts images/video to ascii. The new hope one (which i have also seen before, Edmondo ;)) was err 'hand drawn'.
I was rather disappointed. The film ended when Chewbacca attacked the guards in the Death star. THey didn't even get to see Leia:P I want more!
Hehe Yeah those darn ascii converters... What are they good for hell some of them do color!
I guess you can call it hand drawn Love it though!
and that is what I call a fan, man what a fanatic, he (or she) probebly doesn't pay rent! interesting but man, what insane dedication. (and I thought religion was weird)
Gods bless internet.
Just curious - which gods are those?

holy freakin' monkeyballs this is.. this is awesome!!!
After explaining the concept to my[insert cruder term for "neanderthal"] friends about 4 times, i showed them this and they [figuratively] squealed in delight!
:D :D :D
Try it with the IPv6 protocol installed ;)
I wrote about this seemingly identical project: http://www.asciimation.co.nz/ in my dissertation at univeristy.
I don't know whether that makes me sound clever or stupid...
