My brother installed Doom on an old computer thats still in my school today.. made it so you couldnt see the folder with    dir   in dos

Speaking of virii, I'd like to make something clear to everyone, since a lot of people don't seem to get it, judging from my inbox.

Microsoft will NOT send you an email saying nothing but "Here's the file" or "Check out the file" or "The info is in the file" with no other information.

jannar: sounds like netbus to me. That means some random bloke was sitting at his comp clicking open cd drive, close cd drive...

I tried hacking my friend with netbus when I was 11 (with his consent). I kinda forgot to send him the trojan executable tho, so my plan never came to fruition.

Nope, I downloaded the trojan from astalavista.  
It's gone now, though... I had to run my dear antivirus program

I think some wierdo tried to give me a virus once. It was sent to my Outlook express adress (ISP is freeserve). But because we couldn't be arsed to pay for 2 internets, we use the same one for both PC's, and our other PC got the virus. It doesn't matter though, because we stopped caring about the PC once the company went out of businness (a week after purchasing it!) and since it crashes every 20 minutes, and since the moniter went crazy.
