OK, well, it shows how out of touch I am but I recently came across this board game going cheap in Tk Maxx, but aparently its been around long enough to be out of print now. Haws anyone got into this game: it looks really cool!
Never played it myself, but apparently some people have. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/1917 I play a lot of boardgames. Go out and play them every friday night, in fact, at a university club. I can state quite clearly that Germans make the best games, as demonstrated by the Catan series and such gems as Puerto Rico. Or even Elfenland. Man, that game's crazy.
I have Stratego in my posession - got it many years ago on Christmas. It is an interesting concept. Requires lots of thinking, strategy and good memory as well. Resembles chess in some way, though it's easier.

Looks like a fancy version of GuessWho to me. ;)
I don't know about Legends...but Stratego is my favorite board game of all time!!!!
There's a direct link to Stratego: Legends in Boardgamegeek:

which also has this review by one of the more experienced boardgamers there:

(BGG is a very, very good site if you have even the remotest interest in board and card games).
I've played a bit of Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation (link (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/3201))which is essentially Stratego: Legends with fewer pieces and a well-fitted theme.Ã, I really enjoyed it, so providing the special abilities of the pieces in S:L are well-balanced, it should be a pretty good game.
In other news, I stumbled across Stratego: Legends on BGG earlier today, and it was the first time I'd ever heard of it.Ã, Then I wander over to the AGS forums for the first time in a week and there's a blimmin' thread about it.Ã, I now claim this to be the greatest coincidence ever to have occured to me in my entire life.Ã, Thank you.
