Games tester for GTA: San Andreas!?

I was looking for a job in Edinburgh for the summer and i came across this:

They're looking for games testers for a leading games company. The only company i can think of in Edinburgh is Rockstar North, they're based in a place called Leith.

I found out San Andreas is due for release on October 19th, and the print out i have says the duration of the contract lasts 4 months... which sort of matches up to when it'll be released. Hmmmmm, this could be pretty interesting :)

It's too bad that Rockstar is being so damn secritive about it. Right before GTA:VC came out, there were screen shots in every game magazine around. But now, nothing!!

also remember, there are many Rockstar "companies" they just get renamed thinking that the name Rockstar will help sell the product, you could end up play testing for Barbie's Xtreme Shoe Shopping...

True, but the ad doesn't say what company it is. It's The Dude's own speculation. Besides, Rockstar North. really does make GTA: SA.

Good luck getting it Dude. It's no Psychonauts but it's good enough for a summer job.

Yeah, there's a possibility that it might be some totally random game that hardly anyone will play, but i don't think there are many game developers in Edinburgh besides Rockstar.

In the print-out i have it says "you will need to be at the cutting edge of games playing to apply for this position". I doubt it would say that if it was some random puzzle, or educational game, but who knows.

That sounds totally cool if it is GTA. Pity I live too far away or I might have applied.
