Holy shi - shizz0r!

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are my favourite games of all time next to the Legend of Zelda series.

Thanks for leading me to this site. :)

P.S. Have you heard about Chrono Brake/Break, the supposed next official game to the Chrono Series?

whoa!!!!

I cant wait for this, I loved chrono trigger but as with most games I played it for about 2 weeks, got quite far, then got bored, when I last saved it I had jumped ahead of the game to fight the final boss, and I was finding it easy.....

but anyway, CANT WAIT for this

Now I wish I could've played Chrono Cross.. But now emulators and ROMS are really hard to find. I have the console for it, but I have no idea where to find the game..  I could try Ebay.. But it's hell convincing my mother to buy me stuff online.

Yes.. And if I was 18, I would have an ebay account. But if you find a copy on an online store that uses PayPal.. You let me know.

I've seen that a while ago. They're not actually recreating the entire game, sorry to spoil the fun  8)

to backup The Dude's statement, from the FAQ

Q2. Will you be making the entire game? If not, why not?

A2. No, currently we are only planning 10 of some of the best scenes from Chrono Trigger. Why not? Because we do not have the resources to complete a game of this magnitude by ourselves. The project would never be completed.

puh... lazy is what!

Here's some more of the composer's music, in IT format.  These were for a N64 version they were doing awhile back, but they're going to be recomposed for this new one.

Lazy indeed, Eric. I have mized feelings about this because I think it might turn out to be good, but Chrono Trigger was such a great game to begin with does it really need to be remade?

But, oh well. I think they should perhaps try to do more with the game, but the download file would be huge, they might want to ask for money then (which might shut down the project from the powers that be), but I'm sure people would not mind paying. Oh well.

The music sounds really nice, and I will keep an eye on this. Who knows how it will turn out.

Cross was decent at best..

A 3d remake would ruin CT for me. FF7 was how a good 3d rpg should be designed, wthin limited resources, and CT would not work well like that.. Would just be "Wow cool it's 3d" not adding to the game at all.

Sorry to bring up this old post, but I thought it'd be best for anyone who was looking forward to this project to know that Chrono Resurrection is now cancelled.  :-\

Apparently, Square Enix found out about the project and told the team to cease and desist.

argh. im tired of not having all the codecs to watch videos.

but those screenshots are wonderful. soo much work, now wasted. i think they've gone too far to quit. just go underground, and surprise release it.
