Does anyone know a safe site where I can download a freeware copy of testris?
Thanks, much appreciated, Terrorcell.
Oooo, Testris. Yeah, that was the test version of Tetris, wasn't it? That one with
the randomly generated dungeons and all the fancy lens flares.
Sorry, I think there are no free versions of that at all.
TETRIS, now, that's a different can of worms. There are THOUSANDS of free versions.
Here's just one of them.

BTW, this could well have been done by just typing "free tetris" into google.
Google *is* your friend, you know, and will never stab you in the back.
Yes, Tetris... Thats what I meant.
Not so safe though, I managed to block two spyware when useing it.
Any other sites?

Whereas tetris just happens to be actually the most famous unisex game ever since its creation at the early 90's.
Sure is ;D Its on my list of all-time favourite games.

Who can hate a masterpiece like it?
There's a couple of really good freeware Tetris games on Reloaded.
Simple Tetris For Stroodles (http://www.reloaded.org/download/Simple-Tetris-For-Stroodles/336/)
Zetrix (http://www.reloaded.org/download/Zetrix/260/)
:)

It was actually invented in 1985.
Btw, could someone recommend a good program to draw sprites and backgrounds?
Only play the Tetris Ishmael linked to. That is the only real Tetris. I play it all the time. While listening to Obi's Tetris-song. It never gets old.
PLAY TETRIS!!!

Asking for a Tetris clone isn't a stupid question since there are millions to be found in the web and most of them just suck...
Btw, here's a psychedelic one:

TOD, "Tetanus On Drugs" is a bit different to the normal Tetris since there's psychedelic screen-distortions and so on. It's fun to play one or two times but it's really hurting the eyes so don't get addicted.
I only play Tetris on my NES, it seems original enough. Most of these classic games out there seem like redone copies. I bet you could find a fairly good flash version of it at some flash-game site too.
