Title: The Christmas Thread
Post by: auhsor on Fri 24/12/2004 12:50:13
Well yes I guess I shall create the Christmas Thread of 2004. Merry Christmas to you all, and a Happy New Year.  := Remember not to spend that time on the computer, but with family and friends etc. And don't get too caught up with presents and everything, they don't really matter that much in the long run.

So yeah, I guess this is a bit early for most of the people here, but us Aussies usually get to celebrate Christmas before most of you guys.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Well, us scandinavians celebrate it the 24th, so I'm getting to meet my relatives and open presents today already.  Merry Christmas everyone!

Ya beat me to it josh, well five minutes to go by my count, but by the time I post it it will be pretty close.

10 days off woo hoo, pity I wrote my car off on the way home, well not my fault but still took the edge off my excitment, but I'm not too down about it, as they say the lord works in mysterious ways, not that I'm religious.

I've had the annual christmas eve beers, and walked home about 7km and feel completely sober, (well almost) a strange day in all,  but all part of the equation

merry stuff and all that

~Tim

Newsflash. We have just finished eating the christmas dinner. Including Naimista(some kind of plumb-cream), lutefish(?), ham, and lots of oter dishes. We will soon proceed with the opening of the gifts. I shall report back of what I get. I'm giving my sister a Lava-Lamp and my mum a big handmade, colourfull candle.

I'm really worried because the books I ordered for my sister haven't arrived yet.  If I don't get them soon she will have won Christmas for two years in a row! Here's hoping they arrive in the next few hours.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Make sure you spend time with your family and eat a lot. Just make sure you don't eat too much. I know I did, I can't see my shoes anymore. Or maybe I just drank too much...

Or if you watch Futurama: 'Santa Claus is mowing you down!'
;D

We were at the neighbours for some mulled wine, this evening. And just after we got back in the house (just after midnight, GMT), it started snowing! Wooooo! Pity, we were gonna sue the weatherman for breach of promise (though I think that was the mulled wine talking!)

Anyhoo, Merry Christmas all!

Happy Christmas!

I got new speakers for computer and am testing them right now, don't worry, I'll close the computer in a moment and go spend some more time with my family. Yesterday I went to my grandparents' for Christmas lunch and watched Christmassy programs on the telly. I got some fine presents too!

Okay, I go now, I don't feel like computering on Christmas!
