UK Coder's Workshop, meet on November 27th 2004, is aimed at anyone involved within the development of games to applications, and is particularly geared-up towards the back bedroom & Indie programmers through out the UK.

Coders Workshop is a fun, informal and informative gathering of independent developers from the UK. This event should be of interest for any developers wanting to meet other like minded people.

Here's a quick rundown of what is involved:

The event is aimed at all creative people, from programmers and graphics artists to musicians and designers. Whether your choice of language is Blitz Basic, Dark Basic, C++, JAVA/J2ME, Pure Basic, OpenGL, Click&Play (or anything else) then come along...

So far on the night there's going to be:

* Open Q&A session with development & publishing staff from Idigicon (a well-established UK developer & publishing company) including the Managing Director. Plus several experienced programmers from within the indie videogame scene.

* Videogame quiz - With three sets of prizes

1st prize Latest nVidia gfx card.
2nd Prize Top PC games.
3rd Prize PC Games bundle

* Videogame challenge; Prizes for the highest scores.

* Prizes for the best (previously unseen) game or demo, as voted by the
attendees.

* A free raffle to win various (Top 10) PC games and video cards to everyone who pre-registers. To register, all you need to do is send an email to george@idigicon.com with the heading Coders Workshop along with your full name and where you are travelling from. You will be given your raffle ticket on the night.

* Several PCs & Macs  for you to demonstrate your creations on.

* Last, but not least, there will be a pre-release viewing of something very exciting… You won't want to miss this!

Plus anything else we can cram into the night!

It's free to get in and there will be some complimentary food provided!

Hey, someone from Idigicon said they'd help create a CD full of AGS adventure games once. What happened to that?

Well, Retro Gamer magazine had a pile of AGS games on their issue 6 cover disc.
Including Gaea Fallen, and a few others.
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!
