Hey guys,

How many of you game developers work in teams? Because I worked on my full-length game for over a year, managed to make 12 rooms, then lost the "drive" to continue. I guess a one-man development team just doesn't work out, eh?

Do you guys make AGS games to post on the net, show friends? Just like to know.

Only time i've worked in a team, was for (well, still is) for the ags team comp. and that didn't always go to plan :)

I'm working alone, just because I know that at this moment, I'm not capable of working in a team, because you have to do everything together, and mostly I want it my way. In my opinion is 12 rooms, for a year work very few, except if the rooms are highly detailed like indiana jones quality. Look... I think that working alone is just ok, for making free adventures, but the thing is, is that you need to keep up the pace, and keep working. I find that sometimes hard, but I think I'll do just ok, for someone that works alone.

The thing is, is that people want to make a too long and beautiful game, and they ask too much of themselves. When I found out about AGS, I was dreaming of making a full-length game, but at this moment, I'm making medium length game(s), and after I've done some of those games, I might be starting on a longer game, though there's still the fact that I'm affraid I will never finish that. I think a 25 room game is long enough for someone who works alone.
That's why I respect Ratracer so much. He made the coolest game The Uncertainty Machine, in a year development, and the game is just wonderful! I don't think alot of amateur-developers are capable of that, including me.

I'm working alone, and planning for a really big, like Pleurhgburg leght game, which would r0x0r, but I'm not sure for how long I have thrust to work on it...

:P I made 31, and I would have done more, but ran out of time... Now I'll make a sequel, with much better graphics, (hopefully) more & better humor, more (hopefully harder and funnier) puzzles etc... (-> In my sig ;D)
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

I´m working alone, but a team would be very nice cause it´s very frustrating to do all bgs, scripts, animations, plots yourself, however, this time my friends is helping me with the plot.

I prefer to work in teams. The highest number of people in one of MY teams, must be the Roger Foodbelly team. Count: 15++
Veteran, writer... with loads of unreleased games. Work in progress.

How many teams have you had exactly? And where are all the games they must have produced?
