The woman is Zhang Ziyi if anyone cares. I don't really, the photo from the press kit of 2046 just looked nice and was in an appropriate resolution.

Edit: Not that I ever look at the desktop unless I reboot.

I meant I keep at least one application maximized in the background at all times, usually mirc, so the desktop isn't showing unless I've just rebooted.
