Title: The random videogame name generator competition!
Post by: Akatosh on Tue 04/03/2008 18:22:37
Best contest ever. 'Nuff said. (http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=1214.0)

I can't decide between "Killer Blimp Basketball", "Communist Cheese Onslaught", "Robot Stick Returns", "Presidential Hovercraft Freak" or possibly even "Emo Arcade EX", though. "Naughty Makeout Batallion" kind-of runs out of competition.  ;)

I can't access that site from work.  Has anyone submitted "Verb of the Adjective Nouns"?

Now this reaaaaly made me laugh!

That's absolutely hilarious! Things like Boring Rabbit Kids, Geriatric Burger Boy, Tropical Barbarian from Planet X, Communist Banana - The Quickening, Dance Dance Sailor Hospital are my favourites, but Peaceful Sewer Babies absolutely rules!!!

Amazing how one in every 3 or 4 results is pure gold. "Drunken Shaving Punch-Out!!", "Crazy Zamboni Tycoon", "Atomic Scooter Psychiatrist", "Muppet Ninja in the Dark ",  "Silent Nudist 2K". One title I'd really like to see made is "M.C. Escher's Basketball Preacher", and hell, "Tiny Skydiving Invasion" could actually be a Pikmin spinoff.

"Terrible Vampire Shack"
"Magical Breakdancing Insurrection"
"Bloody Ninja Kid"
"Brain-Damaged Amish Dance Party"
"Turbo Ice Cream Adventure"

We should totally make these games...

"Monty Python's WWII Paratroopers"
"Monty Python's Computer Brawl"
"Monty Python's Submarine Rescue"
"Monty Python's Outlaw in the Middle East "

I could totally see these as real. I noticed every time I came across Monty Python, it seemed oddly normal. But then I realized, for them it would be.  :P

This is all I have to say:

Indiana Jones and the Ninja Task Force

Honorable mention:

Mega Man's Manlove in Vegas

I'm seriously thinking of entering this.  Which title do you think I should go with:

Rock 'N Roll Zombie Uprising  (action game starring Luigi)

Subatomic Bong Saga (some kind of final fantasy style game?)

We Love Drug Dealing Preacher (another final fantasy game starring a drug-dealing preacher)

All-Night Burger Journey aka Hillbilly Burger Bastards (an adventure game where you're a space burger delivery guy)

I really can't decide which one I like best, so help me!

Edit:  wee, I made some generic mario and luigi sprites for the hell of it XD

"Barbie Shaving King" is what I think should never be made.

Man this is awesome.
I planned to make a list of my favourites, but found I was copy-and-pasting every other result, so I've narrowed it down to a select few:

Corporate Ping Pong Marines
Vampire Dog Rider
Sim Disco of the Blood God
Unbelievable Manlove Espionage

My runner up was:
Lucky Ninja Camp

But the best in terms of genuine coolness and possibly the title of my next (first) game:
Shadow of the Graveyard Assassins

After asking random people on the Intarwobz, it's now narrowed down to either Communist Cheese Onslaught or Everybody hates The Alien Crusade!. That's going to be a tough decision.

Tiger Woods' Terrorist Exhibition
Preschool Assault Express
Hardcore Indian in the Sky
Inappropriate Werewolf Posse
Spooky Porn Studio
The Secret Weapon of the Jackhammer - Total War
Sensual Weight Loss Challenge
Aero Chicken Frenzy

'Tasteless Gun Base' actually sounds good to me, it can be read as something serious or also taken in as an innuendo.

Bumping this to show I have completed my TIG offering, minus music and sound.  I will hopefully make an extended version, but for now, play it and tell me how wonderific it is via pm, a message on the tigsource thread or even by email!
