The SINGING GAME. Oh, how melodious.

Right, here's the deal. Think of it as a sort of Karaoke thing.

I name a song to start with, and the person(s) dumb brave enough to sing it uses the ol' sound recorder (windows > programs > accessories > entertainment for Win OS) to record his or her version (or however much they know of the song, even if it's only a few lines), to the ensuing hilarity/impressed murmurs of others. Like the paint game, I suppose it'll be first come first serve, with the entrant setting their own song.

Oh, and best keep to the known songs.

First up...

I want to break free by Queen.

Happy chanting.

There's even a backing chorus and a band for christ sake. I'll win.

Now, next person.... GONE JACKALS - LEGACY

I dare you.

Flippy_D

Good... God...

That is shocking AWESOME :D

Meowster

FINE. Seeing as some of you aren't MAN enough to sing LEGACY by the GONE JACKALS, I give you this:

Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mamma Out

It's a song about taking your mamma out to a gay club to tell her you suspect you might be gay. Sing it with pride.

Okay.Ã,  Never heard it before, but it's a catchy little ditty.

Here's a version from my concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Maybe it would be a good idea, if a person who doesn't know the song in question, that they could make up a song of their own to sing that would have the same title (I say this, thinking of the "stump the band" segment that they sometimes have on Lettermen).

It might make this a little more randomly crazy, like the Paint competition (and solve the potential problem of winners picking fairly unknown songs).

Just a suggestion, though.

Flippy_D

Yeah, that's a fair point.

Also, what the heck is that? Never heard of that song. It needs to be instantly recognisable, mate  :-\

Uh, Pump Up The Jam was a really popular techno hit in the early nineties.  I thought it was recognisable for it's cheesy ambiance......

I know I didn't do my own version. I'm too lazy to look for ...er, I mean I can't find my mic/headset to sing into anywhere, but I have a really really really great suggestion for the next song! Is the winner the only one who gets to pick the next song or can I go?

Rave: If no one does Ob-la-di Ob-la-da by the end of the day, I'll switch it to your idea. How about that?
