Has anyone ever seen a picture of a person online and thought, "Hey, is that...? Nah...it can't be... Can it?"
I was browsing through the 3D.sk (http://www.3d.sk) nude reference photos (I'm making Poser photo-realistic textures, you perverts) and came across one that, I swear to God, looks EXACTLY like a girl I used to work with. She even had the same name! (Monica, the newer model.) Then I took a look at some of the facial close-ups and realized that it wasn't her. The jawline was too pronounced to be her, or something like that.
But I'm sure that's happened to somebody out there, not just me. I know I've had moments where I swore a picture of a person looked like someone I know or once knew. :p

My buddy Tony loves sending me pix of naked women over e-mail. (he's kind of knew to the e-mail thing and still thinks it's cool to send me porn!)
One time he sent me a picture of this woman that was, I swear, this girl I got hammered with one night and made out with! I never asked her if it was her, but I'm almost positive it was.

In army my roommate was browsing through his new umm... anatomy reference photos and he basically jumped up and shouted "I know this girl!" He said she was one of his sisters friends or something like that.
I told him to ask his sister to check it out but he didn't. :)

I knew a girl that was a year ahead of me in high-school who posed nude in People magazine for one of those Homegrown things or whatever it's called.
I asked her about it and she was thrilled that someone she knew had seen it, and asked me what I thought about it...
I had an even more unsettling experience.
One day, in a bus, I've met a man who looked exactly like me. His friends started whispering and laughing, but let me tell you that me and him really didn't find it funny at all.
It was rather terryfying. We tried not to look at each other, although obviously it was a hard thing to do. At some time I realised that we differed only in grimaces, that is: he made different things with his face, had a different way of raising eyebrows or smiling, but the face itself was the same (apart from the haircut, because my haircut is one and only in whole world, as I make it myself).
Those were 10 minutes from a horror film. Meeting your Doppelgaenger isn't pleasant.
When I was fifteen the class whore had a crush on me and one day she wore a dress shirt and plaid skirt to school, and she would get me to look her in the eye and spread her legs to see if I would look.. So I kinda remembered what she was wearing, and her, yeah. I was such an introvert that I was afraid to even talk to her though. She moved to a different town at the end of the school year and the summer after my friend was on my computer and found some pictures that I could have sworn were her, same clothes and and they were amateur pictures. When I was seventeen she got a job at the same resturaunt I worked at so I asked her about it, and she said, "Yeah, my boyfriend took those and put them on the internet. I was so pissed."
People tell me that I look like someon they know.

Hmm... I've never met anyone who looked like me... Although, I've been told over the past few years that I look like numerous celebrities (some that I'm familiar with/some I've never heard of). One of those celebrities I've seen in person, but it's not like I actually talked to him... I was too busy getting my ass whooped in the mosh pit.

And Rich, I totally agree - there are deffinatley pictures out there that you could swear is someone you know. I've seen loads, and when I was in school I used to print them out and stick them up. Amusing!
