So I was Googling walkcycles and every result I clicked came up with a "Warning: This site may harm your computer" from Google.

What's going on here? Googling Microsoft and Google Maps also get the same results...

...and now it's stopped happening. Looks like someone at Google published something they shouldn't have.

Anyone else see this?

Looks like malware, to be honest. What protection are you using? Do a check.

BOYD1981

yep, there's a technical fault with google that's causing it,
i think the site checking service thingy isn't working so they're just covering their backsides by telling us that all sites may be harmful.

Its not malware, its been happening for people all over the internet. Looks like some new feature Google have put in, and its either not been fully tested or it needed a short while to pick up

Some news wrote about an unknown group of egyptian hackers.

Some others talk of  human error.

Personaly I'm sure it's Microsoft fault. When it's not solar eruptions, it's always MS fault.

It's been there for a long time now, but apparently it just glitched.

Domino

This happened to me today while Google searching information on Fallout 3.

A nicething to get your parents alarmed. It took me quite a while explaining them why it's not all dangerous. They were about to stop using internet for good, so I had to lie a bit. Sorry for that, if it means I'll be going to hell...

Layabout

The whole of the internet was infected by a virus. Shut down your computers and go outside. It's a place where download times are instant, graphics resolution is like millions x millions of pixels and framerate never shudders.
I am Jean-Pierre.

Ultra Magnus

I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

I'm tired of pretending I'm not bitchin', a total frickin' rock star from Mars.

Oliwerko

And only a demo, 'cause when you die, you don't respawn.

suncrafter

This is the first I've seen of it.
