Title: To Cintiq users
Post by: Alan v.Drake on Tue 19/10/2010 11:03:45
I can't believe this day has come.
Brace yourself... 4-point calibration !

Yeah, finally after ages of darkness and despair Wacom finally released a driver with 4 point calibration. It was damn about time.

Oh boy, the world is really coming to an end.

Is this gonna fix the bloody annoying dead zones around the edge of the tablet?

Yes, this driver seems to fix the dead zones (the calibration is still not perfect, but it's a good step forward, I guess), however, it doesn't seem to work very well on XP, I tried it on Vista and it works fine, but with XP it looked like it was doing the calibration as if it was taking the coords from the primary monitor, dunno maybe putting the cintiq on the primary video exit might fix the problem, or maybe it just doesn't like the new nvidia drivers I installed.

Short version: Works fine on vista. Works bad on XP.
