i'm designing a series for tshirts, they're all based on a theme of hope, going to do 10-12 all together. What do you think?:

EDIT: New board

Afflict

Being a Skateboarder myslef I really like the first one, the others are also great.
Altough I dont like the hand on the last one maybe use the color to hightlight the text rather...
Thats my 2nd favourite!

Evil

The first one is great. I also like the fourth. However both I think will look very different once the trucks are on them. The sixth is also nice and my guess is that one and the first would sell the best. The third and seventh are too plain, and the second is too simple.

They all look great, but those who really stand out is the first and the fourth. The sixth might get you into some legal trouble if you intend on selling them, as it looks very similar to the already existing brand "girl".

Again, they all look great! :)

Darth Mandarb

I read the last one as "Adolf" and was confused (read it upside down and backwards).

I haven't skateboarded in years, but these are cool.

I like the first one the best, then the last (after I realized it wasn't a hitler reference :) )

Then I'm sure they could sue all of the public restrooms as well. It's not something you can really copyright.

Thanks for the feedback all! I wasn't aware of the brand you mentioned but i'll look into it and change it if necessary.

A little explaination of each, as they're all based on hope but each is tied to a specific theme:

-The 1st represents pandoras box, where all the evils were released and hope stayed inside the box.

-The second represents an alternative illustration of man's desire to explore space.

-the third is a play on words, hope being the reverse of pessimism.

-Number four is a sattirical view of airplane oxygen makss, and the realistic chance of survival once they drop.

-Five is an illustration of a a russian story called firebird, which is about a mans quest to get a tail feather from a phoenix.

-six is a representation of reciprocal love.

-seven is an illustration of the quote 'Hope is faith holding it's hand out in the dark.'

OK, i got them finished. Need sleep.

Dude, does your talent ever end?

I agree, the pandora one is fantastic (although I thought that pink stream was hope, at first).

I also love the stars one ^_^ Gorgeous!

I had no idea what the oxygen mask one was until you explained it. It's nice though.

I thought, "Oooh, wow, pretty!" when I saw the hope/fear one... until I saw what it was, then I went, "Oh... urg!" :P

But they're all pretty awesome! I'd certainly love them on a board if I were a skater. Make snowboard versions!

I would never imagine "hope" and "Pandora's Box" in the same sentence...

Wasn't opening that box a bad thing???
Mom's Robot Oil. Made with 10% more love than the next leading brand.

My thoughts exactly, but apparently this is how it went (from Wikipedia):

QuoteHope was personified in Greek mythology as Elpis. When Pandora opened Pandora's Box, she let out all the evils except one: Hope. Apparently the Greeks considered Hope to be as dangerous as all the world's evils. But without hope to accompany all their troubles, humanity was filled with despair. It was a great relief when Pandora revisited her box and let out hope as well.

Hmm, I've never heard that last part (although I've also always been confused as to why keeping hope inside was a good thing). So, hey, learn something new everyday...
