Well, he's wearing an orange jump-suit because he IS an idiot. He practicaly saw Hinata naked but didn't get to see her face very clear one night, and then the next day he told everyone of this beautiful chick at waterfall. Hinata blushed, and that IMBECILE asked her "What's wrong Hinata? Are you coming down with fever or something." I MEAN, SHE EVEN SNEEZED (probably because the waterfall scene took place at night and she was nacked under the waterfall) and that idiot still didn't figure it out. They were in the middle of the forest, miles away from any town, WHO COULD IT OF BEEN? a fairy? :))
As for "Believe It" i think it was just because the US tried to make look like a kinda POKEMON with ninjas, so they added a stupid catch phrase that would become 'popular' among fans. They always do corny stuff to anime, I mean just look at what they did to Yu-Gi-Oh!, from people getting stabbed in the head with knifes, to people being banished into another dimension using a staff with magical powers :| That is just lame.

As I said, it was apparently for lip-syncing reasons.

In the Japanese versions, Naruto often ends his sentences with "dattebayo" or "(verb)-ttebayo" ;, and as such Naruto has a unique style of speech. In the Japanese language, an ending can be added with no meaning to make the tone sound more tough, childish, girlish, or many other changes depending on the many existing endings. "-ttebayo", which is not a well-known ending, has no literal meaning and cannot be translated, but carries the connotations of the speaker being uncultured, brusque, and seeming tougher than they really are.In the English anime and video games, he often says "Believe it!" to fit with the mouth flaps of "-ttebayo".

Ok, youre just putting down something you've never even heard of. You have NO IDEEA what naruto is, yet it's only for nerds. Not all anime fans cosplay, and not all anime fans are nerds.

I know I'm late on this, but I'm pretty sure this was directed at least partially at me, so I thought I'd respond.

I was just making a joke.  I've got nothing against the less... deluded cosplayers (you have to admit, there are several out there, with documented evidence, that should NOT EVER be attempting to wear the costumes that they are wearing).  On the contrary, I quite admire the craftiness and dedication of some I've seen pictures of.

As for anime and Naruto, I live in Japan and teach elementary and junior high school.  When I arrived here four years ago, Naruto was all the rage with my students and so that I could relate with them when they talked about it, I watched it.  I watched about 50-60 episodes before giving up out of boredom due to pretty much the reasons Andail described.  It was pretty fun at the beginning though, and had some really neat ideas and cool fights.  But the talking!  It eventually got to me.  Plus, I eventually realized that I was watching a show aimed at kids under the age of 15...

I've at least sampled lots of other anime series as well while being here and before I came and my general opinion on anime is this:

-Limited run series, miniseries, or movies with less than 50 episodes total are often interesting and fun with a planned ending and story arc.

-Long run series that go on and on with no real ending quickly become boring and tedious.

Regardless, I haven't got the time for anime nowadays.  Thanks partially to the people in that awesome cheesehat picture that got posted again!

You're right about the episode thing. Aldo, Naruto got pretty interesting, but I got bored at a few points:
- The Zabuza Saga had lots of boring looking at one another
- The Chunin Exam when Sasuke encounters Orochimaru also dragged out a lot
- And the part where the Sound Five kidnap Sasuke was also dragged

The same is available for Bleach, IF ONLY THEY WOULD SKIP THE FILLERS!
But there is also one anime I saw that didn't bore me at all, and has 72 episodes or so. (Monster) but besides that one, the fun ones like Gundam SEED, Death Note, Ergo Proxy etc. have 50 episodes or less. The GUNDAM SEED series had 105 but that's because it's split in 3 different series: Gundam SEED, Gundam SEED DESTINY, and Gundam SEED : STARGAZER.
