Title: Veterans of Twentieth Century Wars
Post by: Ha Ha I am OK on Sat 24/05/2008 22:29:59
Hey, I was just wondering if there are any war veterans on these forums.

I want to interview someone on a war or conflict that America has participated in during the 1900s.  The Korean War or Vietnam War would be best but anything else would be great.  PM me if you are a veteran or know a veteran that won't mind answering questions about their experience.  This will be done via email and will help me a lot with my project.

Once again, just PM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Perhaps a forum whose members mostly consist of people who grew up with the adventure games of the late 80's and early 90's isn't the most obvious place to find veterans from the 50's and 60's. I think something like this forum (http://boards.historychannel.com/forum.jspa?forumID=600000007) or this one (http://www.veteranstoday.com/gate.html?name=Forums) would give you better results.

In 1989 I made a stone war against the guys of the rival town to deffend the pile of rubbish that they claimed to belong to their town, but we thought it was ours, so, we took positions in the hill and we deffended it for 15 minutes with only one casualty, a guy who received a stone hit in the eyebrow... Two of them bled.
