I've been making digital paintings for a few years now, but I've never made any animations before. So that's a big obstacle that I have to overcome in creating my first game.
Since there must be more novices around this forum that have this same problem I wanted to share this great tutorial I found about animating a walk cycle (http://www.angryanimator.com/word/2010/11/26/tutorial-2-walk-cycle/).
Nice find.
If you are serious about animation and would be willing to pick up a book I can't recommend The Animators Survival Kit by Richard Williams enough. It's a great book full of references and theory behind animation in general. This is done in the Disney school of animation though so your milage might vary. :)
Thanks for the tip Mathias. I'm not sure yet how serious I am about animation, but I can use all the help I can get. So I'm definitely going to check out the animators survival kit.
