Hi all,
Those of you who might have googled my website have no doubt come in contact with the message "This website may harm your computer." According to Google, something on my website is harming people. According to everybody ELSE, there is nothing there. I've had my host provider check it, I've checked, and I've had various nerd friends take a look, and nobody can find anything wrong. Nobody, that is, aside from Google.
I am at a total loss on how to fix this. It's very strange, and very annoying. Any advice or help is appreciated.
-Dave
Have you tried this?:

Edit: Nikolas, this website was where I found myself from google, who test for bad sites.
Ask Google to switch to Firefox :)
Why don't you ask bastard google to review your site, as to see there is nothing wrong?
I've asked them for more info about a week ago, but have yet to hear from them. ???
Well, contac google and write the following:
YOU SUCK!!!
Fill out stopbadware's review request from, Dave, http://www.stopbadware.org/home/review and they'll tell you what they think anything is wrong, which should make it easier to tarck down the problem (if one exists).
What a brilliant idea SSH! Why didn't I think of that? ::)
Yeah, but I said it better :P ;)
Let's just hope Dave tarcks down the problem. ;)
Again, i did that. A week ago. :(
Why don't you stop trying to steal all my IPs and my WarcraftQuest gold?!
Dave, if you haven't already, check out this link:

It has information on what to do if your website has been flagged as spreading malware, and it looks like there's a way to check exactly why it's been flagged. I'm sure you've probably found this already, but just in case you haven't ....
It's a shame to see this. In theory it seems like flagging potentially harmful websites is a good idea, as that's how most people usually pick up malware. But assuming Dave's on the level, I have to question now how accurate and useful this "service" actually is.
Anyway, good luck with getting this worked out. And stop putting malicious software on our computers! :)
Ok, bit of a longshot, but here goes:
did a whois lookup on your domain, I saw you are hosted by ipowerweb. Did a google search on them, added malware to the search term, came up with some interesting links.

Nothing conclusive, but it could well be that Google are blanket flagging ip addresses known to be associated with IPowerWeb. If you know anyone else who hosts with them, maybe worth googling their website.
I'd suggest perhaps talking to AGA and hajo about alternate hosting providers given the info matt points to..
I don't think the problem is ipowerweb, as I have other sites (wadjeteye and a former work site) that are hosted by them and have no problems. I think the problem is the wordpress blogging software, which is a haven for spammers. I've cleaned up the site quite a bit, and upgraded the files (which apparently have better security). Hopefully that'll sort it when they review the site again. Or rather, IF they review the site again.
Looks like it could be fixed.
I went to show the problem to a mate at work and both google.com and google.co.uk seem to link to the site correctly now.
Matt
Yah I just noticed this myself. Looks like they fixed the problem without telling me. :-D
