Just venting here a bit..
Do you ever have those days when stuff happens that is totally weird and leaves you feeling kind of unfocused? One of the weirdest things that tend to happen to me a lot is that I'm talking about a person or thinking about them and all of a sudden they turn up! It happened twice today, I guess part of the reason might be that I live in a small town but still.
Like today I was planning to go to a class two years below me to talk to someone I don't know very well, ask them something. As I'm pondering how exactly to say it so it sounds good, all of a sudden this girl I wanted to talk to walks by and says hi, so I just say what's on my mind.
Sorry if this post is a bit incomprehensible, as I said it's been a weird day. Anyone else had a weird day lately?

Actually, I feel like venting some more:
I'm working as a kind of teacher's assistant in afternoon classes for lower graders (I'm in 11th grade), and there's this girl in my group who I've been trying to connect with. She has some problems in her life, and she ran away from home a few days ago. I'm not too worried, people have seen her around. It's amazing how much I know about her though, considering that a week ago I wasn't aware of her existence. Strange how these things work..
For me, that "weirdness" go by periods, not by days, like what happens to "narrator" in "fight club".
I am having one of those by facts I can't relate here.

About the weirdness I have nothing that I can think of right now. Nothing that I think about ever happens, but i guess that's because I'm a hopeless dreamer :D I'm sure though i can think of something when i get home from here, so untill then... oh, well, I meat a friend today, that's weird, isn't it? Or, I hadn't seen her in months, but was thinking about her lately... and neither of us lives in this town anymore :P anyway...
Situations like this happen all the time to me. Sometimes in my dreams I see people that I haven't seen in years, which prompts me to get in contact with them... it is a strange thing. This is a bit unrelated but, my wife and I use to finish each others sentences when we were dating and even after we were married. She could be thinking something and I would say it before she did, or the opposite. When we watch movies together and see different faces we think of the exact same people they remind us of.

I think you misread my post though, nothing has worked out yet, I'm just calm cause my intuition tells me to be. I've only seen her 3 times in my life, the first three days of the last week. And yet, from some observation and different sources I know a lot, hopefully it'll help me connect with her when she turns up. I really wish I had given her my phone number when I had the chance.
rharpe - I know what you mean, this happens a lot to me with a close friend of mine.
I just remembered, a week ago on Saturday I was going to call someone and then they called me :P.

Meating friends is generally looked upon as weird, yes.
As for me, all my days are completely normal.

I think the stuff Rharpse mentioned happens with any couple that's been together awhile, or just have similar personalities/brain functions. When I watch a TV show with my sig. other, we always, always think of the same people or jokes when we see something. What often happens is we'll have both seen a tv show or an ad or something hundreds of times, and then both at the same time, will notice something we never saw before without mentioning it to each other until after.
But... I don't think it's weird :) It makes a lot of sense.
