It's not a great amount of money, and well, people may go: "Fuck off Dual", but I'm in the direst of needs. The amount is near 250 Euros. I know it's probably as in nowhere to reality to get them, but worth a shot. I will not reveal why exactly I need the money, because it'd be whoring out and disrespecting you lot. :-[
Most importantly I must come up with that money within the next two weeks, otherwise things will end up really hard for me. :( Well, I don't want to get donated without working for them (unless you really feel like it), so if anyone knows a great way to earn those kind of money via Internet, I'd be more than happy to know.

I don't know what it is, but having met Dual in person, and knowing that he's made a number of games without asking anything pretty much, I just felt I knew enough to donate.
If it's possible to know, afterwards, I would like to know were my money went, but it's not urgent, nor obligatory!
As for anything else. The AGS forums has always been helpful to me and others... Not sure if other people have donated, but I would imagine that if Dual is asking... then he needs it.

I really shoudn't need to point this out. I'm sorry if you're in a financial pickle, but asking for donations in a public indie community like this is simply not appropriate.

Ok, I've had a brief correspondance with Dual, learning the nature of his predicament, and felt a bit guilty for locking this and telling him off.
Desperate needs call for desperate measures. It's just that in the past, we've had people simply asking for cash when they've been short on it, and I don't want it to become a fad.
This case is of course different, and I'm extremely proud and happy that Nikolas and some others have helped Dualnames getting out of this pickle, and I hope that he succeeds in raising the required funds.
Dual has also told me that he's happy to let this slide into oblivion - and is not dissatisfied with my decision to lock it - but I would like to add this disclaimer before it falls off the forum board edge.
