As this is the 10000 topic I thought It would be nice to thank CJ (or worship AGS as a god) for what AGS has done for you. Either it means that you have made successful series of games, got you into adventure games more by buying old classics or just made you get into pixel art more (as thats what AGS has done for me ::)).

Just post what you're thankful that AGS has done for you ;D

But anyway, I don't think AGS did something for me. I started making an adventure game, I did all the major programming and stuff but the guy who was supposed to make the art found out he couldn't do it after all, and I quit. I just come here to the forums, that's all

Deleted topics are not counted there. :P

But ANYWAY. I don't think I've earned anything from AGS in particular.
Through the AGS community, however, I have met some awesome people, participated in some interesting debates and earned a total lack of a real life. :(

chicks. Lots of them. Chicks dig AGS. The moment I mention that I am the celebrated creator of Ulitmerr and Aaron's Epic Journey, they can't keep their hands to themselves for the life of them

Sam.

same as gal, through the IRC channel, ive met some cool people, and in 2007, ill meet them in real life, at brittens! Ive also dramatically increased my coding and art talent doing something I find enjoyable. Thanks CJ!
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

AGS ruined my life. But it's a good thing it offered an alternate life here in the forums and on #ags. :=

Privateer Puddin'

killed my father and raped my mother

Squinky

It taught me Karate, and how to pleasure a woman....

Thanks Chris!

Nacho

For me, it's  mittens, some fights with people who finally ended being my friends, new friends (without previous fights) and improving my art skills...
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

AGS has a community, and that's what taught me how to behave on the internet. It also octupled the amount of people I call friends. #ags has replaced nearly all my real life contacts... and I think it's great!

Oliver

AGS has gave me great fun creating games with it, but I still haven't finished any.
You got it!

Mr Jake

I met the love of my life, Al_Ninio.

Jozef

It saved me obscene amounts of money, by allowing people to give me plenty of great games to play, for free.  By extension, it allowed me to spend this saved money on hookers.

Domino

After a few rounds of drinks, AGS gave me the best night of my life. I'll never forget that romantic evening we spent together.

I gave AGS some cab fare early in the morning while i was still in bed, but unfortunately AGS stole my TV and my microwave on the way out the door.

But i still love AGS.

:)

Tiki

AGS has given me pain, frustration, and tears of exhaustion.

Nothing more.

Theme

ags gamme food, something to wear and a place to live

AGS taught me how to survive alone in the wilderness. And how to make Texas Toast.

Dudes. Lots of them. Dudes dig AGS. The moment I mention that I am the celebrated creator of Ulitmerr and Aaron's Epic Journey, they can't keep their hands to themselves for the life of them
