Some schools don't have their own buses, thus they catch Council Buses.

Actually, about the kids thing, when I used to catch the bus, this chick I knew was 'touched' up by the bus driver. Which is a sad story. Thank God he got fired, but hate god that he wasn't arrested.
I am Jean-Pierre.

I'd like to have a bus.  I'd spraypaint it with colorful artwork, and I'd be so honkin big, nothing short of a semi would be able to stop me.  Having a bus would ROCK!

I wanna be something...um...oh yeah, something along the line of programming...or graphics! Arty stuff, I'm not that good at the moment, but I'm sure over the years and till I get to that "Find-a-job" age, I will have improved...And I'm thankful that I found AGS young...now at least I've got something behind my back.
If the boss guy asks me what experience I have, I can tell him I've been programming since I was 13...well sort of...

Timosity

I'm all grown up and still don't know what I want to do but I don't really care at the moment either.

At the moment I'm a Meter Reader for Sydney Water, which means I walk all day searching through peoples gardens for water meters and punch the numbers into a handheld computer.

At the moment I'm working around the Northern Beaches area of sydney which has awesome views of beaches, and houses that are so far beyond imagining the value that it breaks my mind how people can afford them. That's about as close as I'll get to being in this area.

The good thing is I work 2 months on 1 month off in which my month off starts on the 30th May.

so I'm going up to Cairns which is about 2500KM north of my place, to visit my sister and meet my new nephew, and I got cheap tickets to fly there, $96 return which is fucking cheap plus I get free accommodation.

I want to be on a permanent holiday, that's my ideal job (not sitting at home on unemployment but roaming the globe, with endless salary [without having to really work])

I guess I need to win the lottery (I've never bought a ticket but I'm still hoping)

Nacho

I am quite happy about that aspect because I ve felt what a professional I wannabe feels, which is compeating in cyclism... About my life, it seems somebody is directing it to manage a Hotels Chain, but I'm not so sure ( ;D) Maybe I'll go for a more relaxed life of receprionist or managing my little own 20-30 rooms hotel...
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Andail

I will probably become a teacher one day, although I want to be an artist, a writer or work with film...
Game designing has never been more than a very vague hobby for me

HillBilly

I animate(AND get paid for it! :o) and I hand out newspapers for extra cash(Hey, I got school to think of). I hope to work with something whitin comics, animation or anything graphical.

I read all the posts and I was just amazed that the majority of people were all "I wanna be"s and not "I am"s. Come on, where are the adults? :P I wanna hear about what jobs people actually have.

As for me, I'm a university student for the next few months, but that's beside the point.

MrColossal

well Kinoko...

Technically I'm a comic book artist as in I went to college for and got a degree in comic bookery. I've drawn and sold my own comics and been featured in a monthly magazine for a few months...

But according to the rest of the world they'd more than likely say I'm a page at a local library...

Whatever job I get it will HAVE to be creative.Ã,  I stink at all other things.Ã,  I'd love to become a filmmaker and do lots of stunningly deep, touching and inspirational movies that leave people speechless and all teary eyed.Ã,  That'd be cool.

Or do something in music or computers.Ã,  I don't really know what I want to do right now.

This one's for Kinoko.

I'm unemployed at the moment but I want to be a rockstar. I did apply for an art school kind of thing but didn't get in which kind of surprises me but hopefully I'll get better. Then again, it might not be the thing I want to do for the rest of my life.

DragonRose

By day, I'm a cashier/server at a local Greek fast food place.

But by night (and on weekends) I'm in rehersals for the local Renaisance Faire, where I'm a town crier.  My job there is to run around and scream at people that since it's "twelve of the clock" they should go see Zoltan the Adequate's magic show.  This is delightfully close to what I want to do with my life, which is Shakespearean acting.

That or be an editor for a fantasy publisher.  I like editing

i'd like to be in a rockband. Or be a singer. Or a 3dartist.

But at the moment i'm not really doing much, which is kinda sucky.

Well, I already mentioned what I am (software developer and technical writer).  However, I do still have other ambitions.  I WOULD like to become an ancient religious historan of either Christianity or Hinduism.  I'd like to go to graduate school someday and get a Ph.D.  That's what I wanna do sometime later in life, maybe after I retire in about 40 years.  I realize it might not ever happen, but it's something to consider.

I'm a Deputy County Clerk in Muskogee, USA. Just for the summer, and I'll go back to school to be an Electrical Engineer. With the way school is going I'm deeply considering following up on my 3d skills instead.

This follows my  repertoire of:

BBQ Chef
Fire safety inspector at a toilet paper factory (and napkins, paper towels)
Desk clerk at an OSU residence hall
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.

That's just because your artistic skill is inferior to ghor, admit it.

DGMacphee

Yeah... I mean, look at this one:

http://www.sylpher.com/kafka/images/comics/genie3.gif

The guy doesn't even have hair! Or a mouth! What in God's name were you thinking?!?!

Now look at Ghorm's first AF strip:

http://www.agagames.com/ghormak/franz/strips/2003-05-15.gif

Notice how they have mouthes and eyebrows (which constitutes as hair).

Your license to draw comics should be taken away, Eric!

And obviously Ghor's characters are drawn much much better in proportion and more defined in shape (look at the size of the eyes and teh man's left hand in eric's comic... they're horrible and unrealistic!).

Now back to topic:

I'm currently an editor in a local textbook publisher, writting maths and computer textbooks for kids. (Bah! I hate maths, though I hate computers more!)
