What would you be doing now if AGS didn't exist?

I would be bored... very bored, and I would have no way to release my imagination (cause sometimes it has to have it's space) except through poetry and music. I probably would have done better in school. :D

ildu

Pretty much the same as I do now :D. However, I'd probably be designing games for Wintermute and using Flash a LOT more than I do now. I would bet that my graphic design hobbies would pretty much be the same as they are now.

Squinky

I would be performing racially charged stand up comedy at the Appollo theatre and working on co-starring with Jackie Chan in an action movie called Shanghai 3:00.

Domino

I would probably be posting on another forum. As much as i love AGS and have tried several times to make a game, i always gave up. So i am pretty much here for the forums. I might try again someday to make a game, but i lose interest quickly and then move on to something else.

Erenan

I'd go back in time and kill whoever it was who killed CJ, thus preventing AGS from not existing.
The Bunker

MrColossal

I'd simply be waiting for SCRAMM...

NEVER FORGET!!
"This must be a good time to live in, since Eric bothers to stay here at all"-CJ also: ACHTUNG FRANZ!

Etcher Squared Games

I'd honestly be playing more games myself, but ever since I've found AGS I've had more fun MAKING games than playing them...

yeah my game habit has gone down quite a bit. Ã, AGS is a great hobby

Anyone want to make my website for free?

The Inquisitive Stranger

Actually, I HAVE worked on a couple of finished games. They just weren't made in AGS.

DGMacphee

Same thing I do now: sleep with gorgeous Brazilian supermodels and drive my sportscar that can turn into a robot.

WME.
If it didn't exist, too; then guess I would have to do the same with DGMacphee.
Games are art!

Hey, nice avatar :)
(yes, I read that too)

I would probably be coding in VC++ instead, the way I used to.

passer-by

I'd do the same things with another engine at another forum.
If no engines existed, I'd post in my other favourite pages and go back to doing computer-unrelated work, which I'do anyway.

ManicMatt

I'd have never been told my music sucks and would continue to live in illusions of grandeur.

Oh and I might not have bought a PC, which in turn would have meant my new album would never have been made. And then I'd never been able to buy all that cool stuff I got off the internet!

Ubel

I know what I wouldn't do or know about:
-I wouldn't use IRC.
-I wouldn't have the slightest idea about website designing.
-My photoshopping skills would be very basic.
-What's pixel art?
-I would know SOOO little about internet and computers in general.
-I wouldn't constantly Skype with people. I wouldn't even have Skype installed.
-I wouldn't constantly play Heretic and Doom with Ishmael.
-My knowledge of programming would be VERY basic.
-I would never have bought a Wacom tablet.
-I would have missed so many other awesome things...
-In other words: I would be much less "nerdy". ¬¬

The community has tought me so much.

Now, what I would do if AGS nor any similiar engines wouldn't exist: I probably would draw a lot more using pen and paper. Comics perhaps. And I would write, which I don't anymore and that's kinda sad.

PsychicHeart

Knowing absolutely nothing about computer programming, or graphic design.
And probably with some form of social lifeÃ,  :=

voh

I'd probably be doing something constructive, but I refuse to be quoted on that.
Still here.

Pumaman

I'd be out every night partying with gorgeous women.

GarageGothic

I don't have a clue. Probably I would have finished my education and be working as a teacher at a high school or the university. Without being too melodramtic, discovering AGS, developing Shadowplay and having it previewed in The Inventory started a series of cataclysmic events that changed the course of my life.

If it wasn't for AGS:

- I wouldn't be writing for a games magazine and a national newspaper.
- I would never have worked for Electronic Arts.
- I would most likely never have visited Vancouver, Boston or Bologna.
- I would never have met my wonderful girlfriend.

So thanks CJ, I owe you big time!

earlwood

I wouldn't be considering leaving my job at Taco Bell just so I can have more time for this month's bitchin' MAGS competition, I probably will.

Nikolas

I wouldn't be posting this.
I would never have met Radiant :(
I would never have written SO much music
I would never had made 2 contracts to write game music (I started out with AGS...)
I would never have had internet at home (honestly I got broadband to have constant access to AGS, how lame is that?)
