This thread was started on another forum I frequent and a surprising number of people actually worked in the games industry, from programmers to QA to PR and all that.
So, who here works in the (real) games industry?
I'm a stormtrooper for the evil Empire, er... I work for EA once in a while as a localization tester. Actually I'm writing this from a hotel room, since I'm in Sweden right now testing Need for Speed Carbon.
I do programming/authoring at Telltale Games. Only till December, though; after that, I have to go back to school. >:(
You probably know Jake Rodkin then...
I work at Vicarious Visions and it's awesome...
I work for Monkeymoto Productions, Inc.
...Oh...hell.
I know a guy who has worked for Gremlin, Funcom, and currently Eurocom.
He seems stable.
That's the limit of my contribution, tenuous though it may be, to this topic. :P

Same here. Except I'm not in Sweden right now. And I'm not testing anything at the moment.

You could have gotten to know Travis, Rebecca, Tiffany and Jon but NO! You had to intern at Tell Tale instead of VV! I hope your "Jake Rodkin" was worth it! HRUMPF!
Jake's....Bodkin?
I do.
