I just want to know who is your hero (if you have one).
My heroes are Simon Bolivar and Hugo Rafael Chavez Friaz :P (they are Superstars :o).Ã, The first one free 5 nations (that's what I know :-X), and the second is the President of VenezuelaÃ, ;D.
So tell me, who is your hero ???
I'd have to say Superman, because he saved me from falling into Niagara Falls.
Seriously, I would have to say my boss and owner of where i work.
She is a great lady and pays good, hands out money like it grows on trees and gives bonus checks like its going out of style. She is great and i love her for it. Without her, i wouldn't have alot of things i have now. I have the utmost respect for her, and thank her over and over. You're my hero Rose!!
Shawn
Dark of Night: You made the day to Superman and Rose ;).
I forget another of my heros: CJ 8).
Victor Wooten.
EDIT: No explanation needed.
Phil Hartman, Steve Martin, and Bill Murray.
good ones kingsized
i would have to say thomas edison but mostly benjamin franklin
and good topic. im tired so im sorry i didnt elaborate more.
My marvel hero is Spiderman, my musical heroes are the Brothers Gibb, my movie heroes are Sean Connery and Johnny Depp, my hero director is Emir Kusturica, and my greates heroine is a girl which none of you know and never will, and that's entirely your loss.
Lance Armstrong, because he has survided cancer and became an example of where can you reach after suffering such a disease winning 6 (at the moment) Tours of France.
Ayrton Senna... A famous brazilian F-1 pilot. He dedicated a lot of money to help the people at the brazilian "Favelas". He died in 1994 leading a f-1 race... A nice death, he could say, but I still miss him.
Maj. Richard Dick Winters: He was the leader of the Easy Company since the death of Lieutenant Meehan at D-day -1. You may remember him for the series band of brothers.
Of course, my admiration of him comes from real interviews, I really love his mix of peacifism and the fighting attitude he showed when necessary.
PS: HUGO CHÃ ÂVEZ???!??!?1
Blackbird, I was going to say Darkwing Duck!
Don Rosa, he is my hero.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Loook moooom, its Suuuupermaan! :D
And I am serious. I mean, who could be a better hero than a fictituous Kryptonian goodie-two-shoes who refuses to die? Any real person will always end up doing something you hate them for, unless they died before anyone found out.
Aaanyways, Superman could beat all your heros' asses.
George W Bush
What? ???
real life hero is bruce & brandon lee
then it goes Spiderman, Venom, Wolveriene, & the Guyver
Why, it's Robin Hood, of course!
Sure, he's that outlaw guy that wears a tight green tunic and lives in a cave. But, he's also loyal to his king, courageous, intelligent, honest, and takes from the rich and gives to the poor.
But best of all is that he's a wicked archer. In fact, he's the reason why I took up archery in the first place.
EDIT: Oh wait, I was just reminded that I have a second hero: Shigeru Miyamoto. He's the video game designer from Nintendo that created Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Earthbound. I even did a history project about him.
Oh heck, how on earth I forgot MacGyver?
Hawkeye Pierce, Atticus Finch, Bill Hicks, Jack Nicholson, my Mum's partner Les, Paul Weller, John Birmingham, my Dutch Grandparents, my old boss Karen-Maree, and others.
Jesus Christ is the best, then Kevin Young. My favourite marvel hero is Spiderman I suppose. Also, Spongebob rules 8)

Ditto.
Except for the archery part.
I don't do archery.
And I've never played Earthbound :(
Hmmm. I've got many heroes. I'll only count six: John Cleese, Graham Chapman (rest in peace lad), Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin. These guys always made me laugh.
And now for something completely different...
No. 2. The larch.
I'm my hero.
I'm always there for me when I have a problem.
My Dad.
He gave me a kidney. Otherwise, I might be dead.

My Grandad who, when I knew him, sat in a chair all day smoking and drinking, working when he could be bothered. He died when I was about 4. He used to call me Tarzan.
Either him, or Agent 99 from Get Smart!
Hitler.Ã, Orson Wells.Ã, That guy who played the chimney sweep in Mary Poppins.Ã, Stalin.Ã, Major Winchester.Ã, Me.
Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino.

If I may spend 3 seconds to gloat...I go to school with Robert Rodriguez's sister. She's the coolest.
As for my hero, well...Superman. My early childhood was spent in front of the TV watching the Christopher Reeve movies without batting an eye. The comics helped shape my moral and ethical beliefs when I was a preteen, and now when I see the Christopher Reeve movies, I'm blown away by his amazing acting ability. As an actor myself, he inspires me to continuously hone my craft. So, through Superman and what he stands for, I became the man I am today.
However, if I were to say which superhero most fits me, I'd say Green Lantern. That's something I could do in a heartbeat. Hey, maybe if I make it to Hollywood I can land the role if they make a movie! I could do better than Jack Black, I think. ;D
uncle. hardworking familyman blessed with many friends... the kind of guy everyone likes
My Geography Teacher. Bill Gates. Tim Schafer. Chris and Stevan. Dave Grossman and Ron Gilbert. My Vice Principal. My Art Teacher. Anthony and Dee.

Hitler. Orson Wells. That guy who played the chimney sweep in Mary Poppins. Stalin. Major Winchester. Me.
Wasn't that chimney guy Dick VanDyke?
Indiana Jones? MacGyver? hm.
My hero should be strong AND smart.
MacGyver was a real wuss in fights, after knocking someone out with "u.s.-70's-tv-series'-weird-original-style-of-martial-arts-one-punch-per-baddie-move", he always moaned about his fist getting hurt...
so Indy it is.
And Hitler. And V.I.Lenin. (both tried to pick on enemy enourmous times stronger and succeeded, at least in the start - not to say simply - they were cases of one man making whole planet to pay attention in big time)
And Sherlock Holmes, of course, too!
It's quite scaring that a person who created the death of 50,000,000 people has been named twice... :P
MacGuyver killed 50 million?
I think he meant Superman.
Phil Reed. He's my hero.
My mum's been through a lot, i really respect her for that.
Failing that, Indiana Jones
I can't believe that no one said that Chris Jones was their hero, because he's my hero! :=
Uh, actually, Eleazar said that CJ was his hero :P :

I wish I had some heroic story of some real life person who'd saved me.
It'll sound corny but really, and I mean it, my real heroes are my friends and family because these are the people I look to to improve my own personal qualities.
In terms of famous people... heroes? Can't really think of anyone. Idols... Shigeru Miyamoto, for sure. Rumiko Takahashi (brilliant female manga artist), Osamu Tezuka (brilliant male manga artist), Ron Gilbert, Freddy Mercury, Brian May, David Bowie, Terry Pratchett, Dianna Wynne Jones... off the top of my head.
I strive to emulate George Costanza.
Whenever I hear "McGuyver" I can't help but think of the Simpsons.
MAN: "Thank you McGuyver, You have saved our villiage."
McGuyver: "Don't thank me, thank the moon's gravitational pull."
I don't think I have any heroes. Well, I do but they change on a daily basis. They include Steve Purcell, Churchill, The Beatles, Ron "Ronzo" Gilbert, Terry Prachett...
Well, Superman or Spiderman
Jereme Rogers, because he is such a freaking good skateboarder :P
Max Payne and Raistlin.
Excuse me for not to have read your replys (I have been travelling acting in the theater). I have seen some good heroes like Shigeru Miyamoto (Zelda is the best! 8)), some manga artists, Hitler ???, George constanza ;D, etc.
Keep posting.
Farlander: Why you say "Hugo Chavez???"
William Wallace ;D
David Letterman.
Four-time Ultimate Fighting Champion Randy "The Natural" Couture (he's 42 years old and I'm not sure if there's anyone in his weightclass in the world that could beat him in a fair fight), Pride Fighting Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko, Cerebus the aardvark, freelance artist extrodinaire Alex Ross, Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss), Max Fleisher, Batman, Multiple Man, The Maxx, Shigesato Itoi (the REAL brains behind EarthBound), Terry Pratchett, Bruce Willis.
