I still find it hard to say "Wii'll" as in "Gee, the Wii'll be so great". Theoretically, it should be pronounced like "we'll" so it'll probably end up sounding like "wheel"...Ã, 

So, have Nintendo re-invented the wii'll?

Anwyay, I agree with layabout. Nothing like a double-entendre to get free publicity. Maybe the PS3 will now be renamed "PUSSI3"

And you have to admit, most Nintendo games are based for a younger audience, and in fact Nintendo has said as much.

While that may be true, it doesn't stop them being totally cool...

All games I've played and loved despite being 28.

Besides with Gamecube, Nintendo have started branching out to more adult themed games with things like Res Evil etc.

Heh... Nintendo Wii... the name is bad... really... really bad.  Though I'm not a fan of Nintendo Anyways, I'm more of a (dork sounding time wee) PSX fan, though I would have totally taken a Dreamcast over PSX, though I am looking forward to getting a Playstation 3, when I've got a job and money.

I think it's a publicity stunt, they know the console will sell regardless of its name. This way it gets people talking about it. I'm buying one, but it might be a while... it's still all about the games, not the console for me.

Nintendo seem to aim for creating games so far off and crazy when the sad thing is the majority of people just want to play a grand theft auto with a new title and a different colour car, or an EA game, so they lose out for trying to meet the needs of "real gamers".

I read it in PSM2 magazine. And making it HDTV only would be the worse idea thought of since Nintendo renamed their console "wii".

Actually, it really WOULD be commercial suicide. Just trust me on this one, okay?

Also,  did you know that if you have a Hi def TV hooked up to your PS3, and put a PSone or PS2 game in then it will upscale the games to 480p and make them look sharp?

It's about the games for me also, which is why I'm buying the Wii. I've already got a PC I can play games with slightly better graphics than the previous version of the game on.

The Wii will fail, Nintendo couldn't market a console in America or Europe if they had all the resources to do so.

Uh, the DS is selling great in america... (and everywhere else), and Metroid Prime Hunters has been out for ages... it's hardly the star DS game, though, there are many bigger selling and more anticipated games.
They also sold their cartoony games to a rather large market except for on the GC, which sold marginally less than the Xbox.

Not that I have any opinion on how the Wii will sell, it's too much of an oddball to say, I only know I really really want one.

A spoof? I'd gathered that it was more of a jab to Sony for coming out with the "revolutionary" notion that the PS3 controller is nothing but a Dual Shock controller, with the Shock taken out (no rumble function) and a motion sensor installed (which was NOT totally ripped from the Wii, ooooh no).
